CHAPTER-5 Truth Hurts

Fiona’s POV:

‘So many questions to be answered! Am I robot? Gosh Tessa better learn to behave.’

“I am asking you something better answer me.” Tessa screeched.

“Uhm I didn’t tell him anything. I just said I wasn’t interested in him and getting into a relationship and I don’t find it wrong.” I whispered to Tessa.

“How dare you?” Tessa yelled and slapped me right on my cheek which is burning in pain.

“Tessa please stop beating me I told him the truth. I cannot hurt Watson just because he is not handsome and not a son of a Billionaire.” I cried holding my cheek in pain.

Tessa gritted her teeth and yelled  “you better learn to behave with me Fio. You are going on a date again with Henry tomorrow. I want you to accept it because I have already sent mom the pictures of you and Watson. She hasn’t seen them yet because I have sent it to her mail. I can always make her see the pictures and jail you think about it. Also let me tell you, I have already spoken to Watson about you getting caught at home and you wanting to breakup with him. So don’t unnecessarily try to call him to agonize me more.” She replied and walked out of the room.

‘Why did she have to talk to Watson about it? What happened to Watson? Did he believe her? I need to talk to him.’

“Watson please pick up.” Why do I have a feeling he has trusted what Tessa said. Don’t trust her oh god.

“Hello Watson… Please speak. Hello?” Why is he not talking now? Did something happen to him?

“Hello Watson are you there?” I cried to him on the call.

‘He disconnected the call? Watson did you really believe her? No don’t do this to me. Don’t fall for her trick.’ I sobbed thinking of our memories together.

‘Why did he not wait for my call or ask for my explanation? Why? He shouldn’t be believing her. Nooo.’ I sobbed till I went to sleep.

Watson’s POV:

“Hello Watson… Please speak. Hello? Hello Watson are you there?” she cried.

‘I couldn’t hear he cry and neither could I talk to her because she betrayed me and my trust but why? I couldn’t but I had to disconnect the call.’

‘She called me again. But why was she crying? Didn’t she know that she wasn’t supposed to call me after she cheated on me? Why did she cheat on me? I’m not able to trust what Tessa told me but she did send me a picture of Fio and the guy going out.’

*Flashback*

Buzzz Buzzzz……

‘Why is Tessa calling me? I thought she didn’t like me? Maybe Fio is not well? Noooo maybe Fio is calling me from Tessa’s number because her phone is not with her? Why do I have a bad feeling about this?’

“Hello.. “ I whispered in the call.

“Hey Watson, this is Tessa. I would like to talk about Fio . Can we talk?” Tessa asked me.

“Yes Tessa you can.” I replied.

“So Fio Uhm.. Fio got caught at home and her phone will be confiscated in sometime so she wanted me to talk to you and tell you that she wouldn’t be able to contact you. Also…” Tessa stopped her sentence mid way which is scaring me.

“Also what Tessa? Please complete your sentence.” I cried.

“Watson she wants to break up with you. She also went out with another person today. I will send you a picture of it because she wanted me to send it to you. Please take care Watson.” Tessa told me.

“No. I won’t believe what you’re saying. Fio will never cheat on me with another guy.” I cried. But the call was already disconnected and I received a picture of my Fio with another handsome rich guy.

‘I feel my heart is breaking into million pieces the way he has kept his hand on Fio’s thighs. Why did you cheat on me Fio? ‘  

I thanked Tessa for letting me know the truth by sending her a message too even though I’m heart broken.

*Flashback End*

‘Fio you have always been what I wanted you to be and I loved you for that but you didn’t have to betray me for that because I didn’t have the money you were looking for. Even though it’s difficult for me to hate you, I will definitely not interfere in your life because you deserve to be happy Fio. I love you. I will do everything that makes you happy and If it means that I should be away from you I will take the pain and be away from you. Bye Fio.’

Tessa’s POV:

‘Watson was really dumb to believe Fio would cheat on him. But it’s for their good because I’m sure Fio can never be without money and Henry can afford her style of living. Good riddance to Watson.Thank Henry he took a photo without Fio’s knowledge else it would have been very difficult to convince Watson.’

‘Tomorrow is going to be a big day for me to convince Fio all over again and I hope Watson and she haven’t sorted their issues which I created. I did warn him to not talk. Hope he trusts my lies.’ I smiled and put myself to sleep.

Morning at 8:30 AM

“Fio come back home soon from school. You need to go out with Henry. Remember? Don’t tell anyone about this else you will be….? I blackmailed Fio.

“J.A.I.L.E.D I remember Tessa.” Fio whispered.

‘Good I have a good impact on her. Well she better earn to oblige me.’

“Good, now leave.” I told her and left to my university.

‘I have to call Henry to remind him about the date today. Hmm I will do it after my class ends.’

Fiona’s POV:

‘Why do I have to go again today to meet Henry. I don’t like him. Why should I be forced in a relationship which I’m least interested in?’ I thought until Sam pinched my arm.

“Owww that hurts Sam. Why did you pinch me?” I asked Sam rubbing my left arm.

“I called you 5 times and you just didn’t respond Fio. What are you thinking that you aren’t able to even hear me yelling your name in the corridor?” Sam spoke out with annoyance.

“I’m sorry Sam. I was just uhm…  just thinking about our exam?” Oh s**t why did I stutter now?

“Stop bluffing Fio and tell me what it is? Did you go out with Henry? What did you tell him?” He asked not able to control his curiosity and care.

“Yes Sam I went out and I told him I was not interested in him but we can be friends although I didn’t want to be his friend but courtesy demanded so yes I told him that.” I replied.

“And was he okay with it??” He asked me with an intense gaze trying to find out where I would have failed the plan.

“I don’t think he is okay with it Sam. Tessa already made plans with him again for today for me to go out on another date. But to be honest I don’t like him touching me and the way he looks is full of lust. It scares me to death Sam.” I replied.

“What the hell? Why does Tessa have to do this to you Fio? Can’t you just let your mom or dad know about this? And what about Watson ? Did you tell him?” He again questioned me.

“I can’t tell my parents about Tessa simply because I have no proof that she is asking me to go dating with Henry, secondly she has my pictures and conversations which she already sent to my mom’s email Id which apparently she doesn’t check but will also not take too long for her to check when Tessa insists. Thirdly I haven’t told Watson anything yet. I called him and cried but he didn’t respond. Tessa already spoke to Watson saying I got caught at home because of him and that is why I insist on breaking up. I just hoped he did not trust it , but when I called I for sure knew he trusted every word my sister told him. I miss him Sam. I am not able believe he trusted Tessa even before speaking to me.” I cried hugging Sam in the corridor.

“That b***h! Don’t worry Fio. I will try talking to Watson about this and will convince him. I’ll let you know once I talk. Don’t worry. I’m always there for you. Trust me.” Sam consoled me rubbing my back, trying to comfort me.

‘Why can’t Tessa be like Sam? Maybe that is why we trust friends right? I hope Watson trusts and opens up to Sam. I miss you Watson.’ I thought.
