CHAPTER-17 Guilty

Fiona’s POV:

“Henry what is it with you now? Why are you angry when I should be the one angry?” I asked Henry.

“Uh? What do you mean Fio?” Henry arched his eyebrow.

“I know you understand what I am asking about! Anyway let me tell you, why did you have to tell Watson what is going on between us?” I asked gritting my teeth.

“First tell me who Watson is Fio.”  Henry said fisting his hands.

“Excuse me? Watson is my ex-boyfriend before you came into my happy life.” I whisper yelled at Henry.

‘Something crossed his eyes what was it? Is it pain or betrayal? But I shrugged it.’

“Why didn’t you tell me before? Why did you hide it from me?” He yelled at me.

“What? You forced me to date you and Tessa knew it. She being your best friend I was sure she would tell you. Anyways you never asked me if I dated anyone so why should I tell you out of the blue?” I said.

“Thank you for your explanation. Bye Fio.” Henry replied and left.

‘ I felt hurt but not because Henry left me. It is because he didn’t think about me when he told Watson the most personal thing of my life. Did he exactly tell him he r***d me or what else did he say? I should just ask Watson that.; I know he would be mad but wait didn’t he say we were physical instead of saying I was forced. Darn it! Henry you so know how to play between people and lie.’ I called Sam to let him know the events which happened.

Ring Ring…… Ring Ring…… Ring Ring……

‘God how long is he going to take to pick up a bloody phone call.’ I was cussing when he picked up.

“Sam why did it take forever for you to pick up a bloody phone call ?” I yelled on the call.

“I’m sorry my phone was on silent and just noticed your call. What happened Fio? Is everything alright? Why do you sound so tensed?” He questioned me.

“I’m not Okay Sam. Watson had come home today with Henry.” And I told him what had happened.

“Darn it! Why did Henry make it sound like both of you were interested? Now I’m sure Watson would hate you. But to answer your question I guess that is the only way Watson would not want you back. But how did Henry and Watson meet?” He asked me.

“We surely know the answer for it! Tessa would have made them meet. But my only question is how didn’t Henry not know about my relationship ? Didn’t Tessa tell him anything about my relationship with Watson? Now they are making me feel super guilty Sam. Why should I always go through this?” I cried to Sam.

“Please don’t cry Fio. We will talk to Henry.” He told me.

“But why should I talk to Henry? He did everything to ruin me and then frames me guilty for not telling him about my past relationship. How will I know if he knows or not? I have never told people about my relationship with Watson to anyone except for you and Tessa. So it is not my fault. He never asked me either.” I pointed it to Sam.

“I get your point Fio. But I guess we need to be clear here. Watson is not going to come back anytime to you because he still feels you have cheated on him moreover had a physical relationship with another guy. SO I guess you must just continue with Henry instead of fighting for this.” Sam reasoned out.

“How I wish Sam! But Watson deserves to know the truth. I’m sure he is broken. Even I would be if I am in his position. But if we say it out now he wouldn’t trust me either because I couldn’t talk about it when he confronted me. So maybe I should just go through this all over again.” I replied back to Sam to which he motivated me to be calm and composed.

Henry’s POV:

‘Fio didn’t tell me she had an ex-boyfriend. But even if she had how was she still a Virgin? Was she just trying to make up a story? But Watson told me they were dating and showed me pictures too.’ I thought.

“not all of them go behind s*x master!” my conscience mocked me.

‘Yea right. I did tell Watson saying we were physical and didn’t tell him the truth of me forcing her because I was afraid he would take her away from me. But thank god Fio couldn’t think about anything and just nodded to him.’ I thought.

‘Yes I didn’t ask her or tell her about our previous relationships. But why didn’t Tessa tell me anything either? Didn’t she not approve of Watson or what is her problem with Watson?’

‘I know I yelled at Fio even though it was not her mistake but why did I feel betrayed when she didn’t tell me about Watson. It was not like she is still dating him but neither did she end it with him.’ I thought.

“where did you leave her to end it when you r***d her made her take suicidal decisions?” my conscience mocked me.

“But I did not try hurting her I just wanted her to love me back! I know what I did was wrong and I still repent because whatever I do she still does maintain distance with me which I’m not able to take it. As much as I love her she needs to start accepting me too.” I reasoned out.

‘It does hurt when I am at fault. Did I break them up? Or what happened? Why did he say he thought Fio was cheating? I hope Fio doesn’t go to him even though I know she won’t I still am afraid about it.

“Hello Henry, watch where you’re walking.” Someone called out to me bringing me out of my thoughts.

“Oh hello uncle. Hello Fio.” I replied back seeing Fio and her father going out for a walk.

“I’m sorry uncle I was just caught up in few thoughts.” I replied back remembering what uncle told me. But why is Fio stil not looking at me nor greeting me back? Have I ruined it again? Oh no!

“That’s okay Henry. How come you’re out walking today?” he asked me.

“I usually go out for a walk uncle but I have never seen you. Anything special for your walk uncle?” I questioned.

“No Henry. Fio was a bit down in her moods so I thought I will take her out for a walk and refresh her moods.” He replied back but my eyes are still focused on Fio who is not even looking at me.

“oh okay uncle. I will take leave then. Bye uncle. Bye Fio.” I waved out to them before continuing to walk.

I kept turning back to see if Fio turned back to see me but the truth which hit me hard was she didn’t want to even turn back to see if I’m watching her.

‘I do have to make things right today.’ I thought to myself before continuing my walk.
