RAMI POV
I wasn’t bluffing when I said I was not going to hide at home. After the whole incident with Danci, the Alpha’s son, I still went back to work the following day.
As soon as I stepped into the school, the students who saw me looked really flabbergasted.
I could only imagine the thoughts that are running into their heads.
They may think I am stupid for coming back or I wanted to be killed.
I am very sure they will be stunned to see that the reason I am back is back I am here to do my job and also because I fear no asshole.
I walked past so many eyes and whispers with my head up high.
Finally I got to the Janitor room where I found my other colleagues and also Angela.
They all looked equally stunned to see me.
“Rami what the hell are you doing here. Are you out of your mind? Why are you back to this place? After everything I told you you still insisted to come. Why is it that you don’t think about yourself?” Angela said right in front of everyone.
“Rami you should listen to Angela. You need to be careful around this kids. Danci might come at anytime to seek revenge on you and you won’t want to face him.” a colleague of mine said.
I smirked.
“I will be fine. Just trust me.” I answered.
Angela groaned out in frustration.
“Why the hell are you so stubborn?”
“Because I love my job and I am here to make money to take care of myself. Trust me, I will be fine.” I smiled.
“Well since you have insisted to stay and face the wrath of Danci, just remember that when you get into trouble, do not involve me. I can’t stand up for you in front of the Alpha’s son.” she said.
“Copy that ma’am.” I saluted.
I started my work and believe me when I said I had the most peaceful day at work. No one sneaked behind my back to push me or drag me.
My work went so well and to my colleagues, they were shocked that nothing happened to me.
While I was cleaning the toilet, I heard some female students walk in to adjust their make-up. At first I didn’t pay attention to them. Not until I heard them talking.
“The captin did not come to school today which is really strange.”
“I am guessing he is too embarrassed to show his face after all that happened between him and that janitor. She really did bruise his ego.”
“I feel like he isn’t embarrassed. Maybe he is just planning his revenge on her which is why he stayed out of school. Just thinking about what he can do gives me the shiver. I am so glad I am not in her shoes.”
They changed the topic and talked about their celebrity crush which wasn’t my business.
My only concern was the part that the asshole didn’t show up today. Could he really be hiding in embarrassment or is he really planning on how to hurt me?
Which ever one it is, I am ready for him.

Okay, so this is getting more serious that I thought.
It’s been four days, yet Danci didn’t show up in school.
No one has seen him around. Angela overheard some students as they talked about him. According to them, he locked himself at home and has refused to see anyone.
It sounded so funny to be honest.
It felt like a twist.
I should be the one hiding from him but he is the one who is hiding from me which sounds like a joke to me.
Why hide if you love to act like you know everything?
Well at least he is off my neck and I can do my work perfectly without him.
It is also peaceful without him lurking around.
“Rami, I will take the sports area this time, you should take the classroom area.” Angela said as she picked her bucket.
“Why? But we agreed I take the sport area.”
“After what happened that day and since you don’t want to listen to everything I have said to you, you should just take the classroom area.” she answered.
“But isn’t the classroom area more dangerous?” I asked her.
The classroom area is more dangerous because it would be surrounded by the students.
“You have a point. Fine, take your normal place. Let’s get busy.”
I smiled as I watched her leave.
Although we aren’t that close but I am grateful that she still cares about me.
I pushed my cleaning cart to the sports area.
As always, I had my earpiece on as I began to enjoy the slow, sad song.
I hummed and began to work.
Work was moving so smooth for me like other days and I was happy.
But I didn’t realise something dangerous was lurking around the corner to grab me.
Before I could realise what was happening, I was already surrounded by huge looking muscled men.
I was the shortest and smallest amongst all of them.
From the look on their faces, I instantly knew this is not a friendly business. Especially after noticing their jersey.
It was a hockey jersey.
I stopped my music and looked at them one after the other.
“Can I help you with something?” I questioned.
“Are you just foolish or you are just acting brave?” a pretty face blonde questioned.
I gave him a confused look.
“I am sorry but I honestly don’t get your question.” I sounded polite.
“She must be foolish because only a fool will still show up here acting like she didn’t do anything to our captain.”
The dude who was standing next to blonde haired said as he was glaring at me.
If looks could kill, trust me, I would have been buried seven feet to the ground.
I knew why they came and it is funny.
I began to laugh in my mind but then, my lips exposed me by laughing out.
“Are you laughing?” the blonde asked looking amused.
“I am sorry but please can you excuse me. As you can see, I am doing my job here.” I said to them still sounding polite.
“Who gives a s**t about that? Listen girl, you are coming with us right now.” another dude said angrily.
“I am wor……..”
“Shut up and move or we f*****g drag you. You won’t want to gather much attention and make it messy right?”
I swallowed the words in my mouth and decided to just go with them.
The worst thing they can do is beat me up.
Right.
So I thought. But I was wrong
After following them to the rooftop, I found out that they didn’t bring me here to beat me up.
Instead, they brought me here to face the greatest jerk of all times.
