“Honey calm down. I got this.”
I mindlinked Maik.
He looked at me and became calm.
My eyes went to the head of school, who was sweating already before it moved to Danci who’s eyes gave him away.
He has a sign of uneasiness in them.
“Son, tell me, do you know what happened to Rami?” I asked gently.
He gulped first, then shaked his head.
“No mum. I have no idea. I haven’t seen her today.” he answered.
“Danci, did I teach you to be a liar?” I asked.
“Ma?” he looked stunned and scared at the same time.
“I need an answer from you. Did I teach you to be a liar?” I asked again.
He looked down, avoiding looking at me in the eyes.
“No mum.”
