Chapter 6

RAMI POV

I hummed the lovely melody my mother usually sang for me and my dad, which always has a way of smoothing my mind and heart.

I honestly have no idea how long I have been locked in here, but then I am already used to the darkness.

This isn’t the first time I stayed in the dark.

The first time I stayed in the dark was the first week of my parents‘ death.

The light in my house was cut off and it was just me in the big house. When the night came, I hid myself in my parents‘ bedroom as I cried so hard.

I was so scared of the dark and couldn’t find light anywhere.

But after I was able to sleep that night and wake up the next month, I got so used to the darkness, and I didn’t mind it at all.

So if Danci thinks that this is a punishment to me, then the jokes are on him.

I am not f*****g moved by the darkness.

The only thing which is bothering me right now is the fact that I am so hungry and I really want to eat something.

I continued humming as my mind began to form different scenarios. I enjoy day dreaming especially when I am alone.

It relieves my mind from lots of thoughts.

Then my mind remained me of one person.

Danci Vento.

Soon I will get my revenge.

His days are so numbered.

He won’t know what is coming for him.

He will pay for what he has done to me and his parents will also pay for what they did to my parents.

He can have all the fun now, but soon I will have my last laugh.

I don’t mind fighting till my last breath but I must watch my enemies fall down right in front of my eyes.

Then the sound of a click made me jump.

I was about to laugh at myself for being strong one second then being a scary cat the next second but I couldn’t because the door opened and it revealed the face of the person I didn’t want to face.

“I can see you are doing well over here. You should thank me for being kind hearted. I decided to come here to let you go. I could leave you till tomorrow but I am just a nice person. Now tell me how grateful you are.” he said sounding so proud.

I stood up and dusted my butt.

My eyes went to the door and I noticed the keys were still there.

Then a wicked idea entered my mind.

I walked to him and stood straight looking at him.

“And why should I be grateful? What exactly did you do to me?” I asked him as I calculated in my mind how to run out.

“Why the hell are you so annoying? What is wrong in apologising and appreciating someone?” he asked with a frown on his face.

“I can say ‘sorry’ and also ‘thank you’ to others but you, I will never say those words.” I said to his face.

“You love to dare me, huh?” he asked.

“Do you know what else I love to do?” I asked in a low voice.

He raised an eyebrow and asked.

“What?” he grunts.

I moved closer to him and then whispered close to his ear.

“This.”

Without wasting a single second, I kneeled his groin, causing him to groan as he felt on his knees.

The time to run is now.

I bolted out of the dark room and closed the door. My heart was racing when I locked the place with the keys.

“Hey, crazy janitor what the f**k do you think you are doing?” he shouted from inside.

“Giving you the same taste of your medicine.” I answered as I pulled out the keys.

“Listen to me, if you really love your f*****g life, open this f*****g door right now. Don’t make me say that twice.” he ordered inside.

I began to laugh.

“Your threats do not scare me. Enjoy your time alone. I pray someone hears you and comes to take you out, or else, you might spend the night here. I hope no one comes for you, actually.” I said, then laughed again.

“f*****g ASS b***h. OPEN THIS DOOR THIS MINUTE. I AM NOT f*****g JOKING WITH YOU. I WILL TEACH A LESSON YOU WON’T FORGET IN THE WHOLE OF MISERABLE LIFE. DON’T THINK I AM BLUFFING WITH YOU. I DON’T f*****g JOKE AROUND.”

he shouted.

I cleaned my ear with my middle finger. It is unfortunate he can’t see it.

“Would you look at the time, it is time to leave. I am starving. Have a good night and I hope to see you smiling tomorrow. Bye f*****g asshole.”

I turned and began to walk away humming the same song on my mind.

“CRAZY JANITOR COME BACK HERE. YOU CAN’T LEAVE ME HERE. HEY!!!! COME BACK THIS INSTANT.”

I heard him screaming as I continued walking away. I threw the keys at a corner where someone can easily find it incase help comes for him.

I went to the janitors room and changed into my clothes.

I picked my bag and happily went to my house.

Yes I was happy because I won this fight for today.

He locked me up and he also got locked up too. That should teach him to never challenge me and he should stay away from my lane.

As I got to my single room, I took a quick bath before cooking the noodles which is left.

As I was eating, my mind went to Danci and I was about feeling bad that he won’t be going home tonight.

What if he gets hungry?

I remembered that I shouldn’t feel any atom of sympathy for him because he doesn’t deserve it.

I shouldn’t care about him. He is the alpha son who has a stronger body than normal wolves like myself so definitely he will be fine.

I just have to prepare myself for tomorrow because knowing his character, he won’t let me be.

He will definitely come for revenge.
