Chapter 10

DANCI POV

“MUM!!! DAD!!!!”

I shouted as I walked into the house in anger.

My mum was the first to run out of my dad’s office to find me.

“Son, what is wrong? What happened t……. What happened to your finger?” she asked, looking horrified.

My dad walked out from his office casually as my mother was staring at my hand.

“Mum look. Look at what that janitor did to me. I told you she is crazy.” I cried out.

“What? A janitor did that to you? Are you talking about the same person who disrespected you in front of your classmates?” she asked.

“Yes. She is the same one. She is a wild beast. She bit my finger with her fangs.. She was so close to pulling it off. It is a good thing that Gims and Carlos came to my rescue. I won’t have returned with a complete finger.” I pouted.

My mother let out an angry growl.

“She is really stepping her boundaries. How could she hurt my baby? What sort of janitor is she? We can’t let her go away with all she has done to you.”

I nodded in agreement as I felt happy that my mum had my back.

My dad stood silently, still not saying anything. My mum also noticed his silence.

“Honey can’t you say something about this? Why are you quiet?” she asked him.

He let out a sigh.

“Danci, I would like to know your own side of your story. What exactly happened between you and that janitor that made her try to chew your finger off?” he asked calmly.

Knowing my dad so well, he would want to investigate first before carrying out any actions. And if I need him to show up for me, I have to bring something up. Something that will make me the victim here.

“So dad, I was on my way to class when I found that janitor bullying Gims. You won’t believe that she slapped him hard on his face and talked bad about him. Gims only offence was because he is my friend, and she hates me for a reason unknown to me. People were watching as she insulted Gims. I couldn’t stand my friend being embarrassed all because of me. So I stepped in. I tried to stop her from hitting Gims again, but she took me by surprise by grabbing my finger and biting it so hard. My friends tried to push her away, but she kept biting my finger. After she was finally pulled away, she looked at me in the eyes and told me that this isn’t over and that she would definitely cause me a life full of hell. Her threats are so serious, dad. You can ask Gims, and he would tell you she embarrassed him today.” I said in a very gloomy manner.

My mum already fell for what I said because she was muttering in anger as I spoke.

Now it is just my dad. How to convince him that I was telling the truth, although it is all a twisted lie.

“So why didn’t you stand up for yourself and fight back?” he questioned.

“Because you taught me to always respect the weak pack members as their future leader. I shouldn’t be a threat to them or make them to be scared of me. I shouldn’t fight with them. Instead, I should fight for them. This is why I did nothing, and honestly, dad, I don’t know what else to do because she is really terrifying. I feel she is going to be a danger to my classmates and the other students in the school. Dad, you have to do something about this.” I replied.

“Yes honey. We need to step in and do something about that lady. She what she did to my baby’s finger. It is this bad. She might really be a threat to the other kids. If we don’t do something, she might hurt other kids tomorrow, which will be bad.” My mum supported me.

At this point, I knew he won’t say no because he always listened to my mum no matter what.

“Fine.” he sighed.

“We will go to his school and get rid of the girl.” he finally agreed.

I almost jumped in happiness, but if I did, my cover would be blown away. So I put on my best innocent look.

“Thanks mum. Thanks, dad.” I said to them.

“Your welcome, my baby. Come with me so I can treat your wound. If you leave it like that, it might get infected, and infected wounds take time to heal.” My mum said gently.

“Alright mum.”

I followed her to the dining room, where she helped me clean my hand and covered it up with a bandage.

“I am done. You can go to your room and rest.”

She said.

“Thank you so much, mum. You are the best.” I smiled at her before standing up and going to my room.

As soon as I locked my door.

I began to do a victorious dance as I was so happy that my plans worked.

Then I remembered that I needed to inform of the lies I spoke in case my dad really asked him.

I picked up my phone and sent a message to the main group to tell them everything that happened so they could all cooperate.

Gims- I am glad your dad is going to deal with that brat. Now, she will have a real taste of the punishment she deserves. I hope tomorrow comes so fast. I honestly can’t wait to see her enter her downfall.

I laughed as I read his message.

He is definitely happy because of what happened to him.

With a smile on my face, I smiled.

Danci- Tomorrow is going to be a good day. Don’t forget to come with a pack of popcorn. We are going to have so much fun as we watch our enemy’s downfall.
