RAMI POV
The sounds of the bell ringing jerked me back to reality.
Finally, break time is over.
Today seems to be long and extremely boring.
“Rami, stop standing there and come on let’s get to work.” Angela, my colleague, shouted.
“On my way.”
I walked to my assigned janitorial cleaning cart ‘’and began to push it.
It’s time to get some work done before I can finally call it a day.
“You will take the sports centre. I will take the classroom hallway. How does that sound?” Angela asked.
“It sounds fine.” I smiled.
It is better to clean the sports centre although it is so much work. But to me, it is much better than cleaning the classroom area.
One thing I decided when I started working as a janitor in this great prestigious school is to avoid all the students most especially the elites.
It is better to stay off their way or else they will make your life nothing but a living hell.
Yes I know we are all in the same age group and I am supposed to be a student with them but then, when life decided to play a smart game on me beating me down to my lowest level.
From a girl with a high rank down to an omega.
That’s how low I have gotten, too.
And all this happened only because my parents were framed for something they didn’t do.
They were both innocent and tried to explain themselves, yet no one listened to them.
Instead, they killed two innocent people just like that.
This pack took my parents, my life, my happiness, and totally everything from me.
The only reason I am alive is because I need to find a way to clear my parents' names.
I can’t join them without doing anything about it.
How the hell would I even face them?
They didn’t train me to be a weak girl.
But the only problem is that I haven’t found anything yet. I haven’t found any clue to prove that they are innocent.
“Rami are you even listening to me?”
I jumped and looked at Angela, who was glaring at me.
“What the hell is wrong with you today? You have been spacing out countless times. Are you sure you are okay? Or did something happen to you today?” she asked as her face changed to concern.
“I am genuinely sorry, Angela. I am fine, trust me. I will be going now.” I said as I hurriedly pushed the janitorial cleaning.
I went to the sports centre and started with the basketball area.
I connected my earpieces and began to listen to my favourite boy band, BTS.
It's time to start cleaning.
I hummed the songs as I wiped and cleaned from the chairs to the floor.
After cleaning the whole area, I moved to the next room.
The tennis area.
I cleaned the whole place.
I moved to the hockey area.
It was so big and slippy, but I managed to clean it all.
I was humming BTS song named Danger while I was cleaning the entrance of the hockey area. I pulled out my mop from the bucket and was going to clean the floor with it.
But unfortunately, my mop fell on someone’s shoes.
My face turned pale as I stared at the expensive black sports shoes.
I slowly raised my head up only to see a really tall young man staring….. actually not staring but glaring hard at me.
My breath hitched as my eyes observed his face.
His black hair was so silky, and it looked conditioned properly. His black eyes were so beautiful that I won’t mind drowning myself at the sight of it.
His nose was a perfect shape. Pointed and beautiful, too. It looks like he had surgery on it, but I doubt if he actually did that.
My eyes moved down to his lips.
The first thought that ran into my head is how do I get to kiss these perfect shaped lips?
Damn they look really pink and so attractive.
He had thick beards and an ear ring just in one of his ears.
My eyes moved down again, and I noticed he was wearing a hockey jersey, which means he is a hockey player.
Shit, I should be apologising not staring at him like a f*****g pervert.
What the hell is wrong with me today?
Could it be that Angela is right that something is really wrong with me?
“I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to use the mop on your shoes. I am deeply sorry.” I apologise as I lowered my eyes to the ground.
“You are sorry? Can your sorry pay for the shoes you just ruined?”
His angry deep voice echoed everywhere causing me to shiver.
Ohhh Rami, you just made a student angry.
What happened to you staying out of their way to avoid confrontation such as this?
How do I get out of this mess?
“It wasn’t intentional please. I swear I didn’t know you were coming. I am deeply sorry. I will pay for the damage I have caused.” I begged.
I heard him scoff.
“And how can a lowly thing as yourself give to me as payment for what you have just done? Do you have any f*****g idea how expensive this cost? They are the only collection which is available and I just bought them recently. I doubt if you can ever pay for this. Even if you trade your whole life to me, it still won’t be enough to pay for this shoes.” he shouted.
Oh God what mess have I put myself into?
I wish this can just be a bad dream.
How do I get out of this?
“Fine I will do anything. Please. I am ready to do anything?” I pleaded.
I noticed some people were already watching us yet no one said anything or did anything.
They only watched as I was being treated badly by this hockey player.
“You will do anything huh?” he asked.
I nodded immediately.
“Yes, I will do anything please.”
“Good. Now go down on your f*****g kneels and clean my shoes which you ruined with your f*****g hair. It is long enough so it would be enough.” he ordered.
Tears welled up in my eyes as my heart beat so fast. This is the highest height of humiliation I have ever experienced.
“Please I beg you.” I was about crying.
“What? You can’t do it?” he asked with a smirk on his face.
“I……..”
I didn’t know what else to say.
I have begged him yet he won’t agree.
“Such an unfortunate janitor. Of all people, she had to make the alpha’s son angry. Poor girl.”
I heard someone whisper.
Instantly everything froze.
I looked at the guy standing in front of me.
He isn’t just a hockey player but the f*****g alpha son.
Wow.
Just wow.
And I was about to cry for him.
What a sick joke.
I raised my head up and looked into his eyes.
“I won’t clean your f*****g shoes and I don’t care about them. Infact forget that I ever apologised to you. You don’t deserve my apology. Do your worst, I don’t f*****g care.”
People around began to gasp and he also looked stunned too.
“What did you just say?” He asked looking confused.
“I said, DO YOUR WORST, I DON’T f*****g GIVE A SHIT.”
