The room was filled with silence, we decided to lay down a while ago together. Ash’s calm breathing was the only thing that can be heard from our surroundings. His eyes were closed and even though he wouldn’t tell me, I could feel that he’s in pain or something.
“Ash… are you sure you’re okay?” I worriedly asked, but he didn’t answer me. All I could hear from him was his muffled groans and breathing.
My hands reached out to his forehead and immediately hissed when I felt how hot and high his temperature was from my hands.
“You’re burning Ash… you have a fever!” I exclaimed before going outside to find our kitchen island to look for some meds and a thermometer.
