Two weeks later:
This morning we set up the backyard with a picnic table a big inflatable pool, and a bbq area.
The first to show up is Lionel, his girlfriend Emma, and Lionel’s new friend Joey who he wants to start a business with. Soon after they arrive my sister Ester arrives with a box of homemade cookies that was rainbow-colored. Cute. Then Evan and Jonah show up in matching, bright green swim trunks and head straight to the pool after greeting us.
I also invited Monica and she brought over some of Bayley’s friends from the foster care.
Mom and Sarah, arrive fashionably late with sun hats, flowy dresses, and boots looking like the southern bells they are. Sarah's girlfriend couldn't make because of work. We all head to the backyard to hang out.
