She stares up at me with her captivating green eyes and I feel like a stake has just been pierced through my heart. She’s hurt, I get it and it feels like I’ve just been ripped apart to see her this way.
“My office, now,” I command, my voice firm and steady. I don’t bother to look behind, I know she’s obeying my order and following closely.
I walk through the door of my office and give Asher an all too knowing look to get lost. He stands up abruptly, letting his Luna in before closing the door behind him.
“You think you can just command me like that?” she spits out as soon as the door clicks behind her. I see the water pooling in her eyes, she’s scared. We all are.
