CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
Becca held on tight as Desmond broke the last of the remaining windows in one of the work floor panes as he pulled himself through the opening.
He let her off and transformed back into a human.
Becca got a good look around. The room had a bright orange glow. Several holes in the floor were covered by rotating blue circles. She didn’t know what the circles were but guessed that the holes went directly into the silos.
She looked around for Cyrus, Rocco, and Luna. They weren’t there.
Only a woman in a brown raincoat and an umbrella, watching them with a smile.
“Who the hell are you?” Becca asked.
