I open my eyes. I’m back in my room. My head is throbbing, and then it all floods back. Lila, the fight… Caramia… My eyes shoot around the room in a panic.
“You’re okay, I’m here.” I feel her arms go around me as I meet her gaze.
I immediately calm under her touch.
“How are you feeling?” She presses.
“I’m okay, my head hurts.” I admit.
She hands me a glass of water from the bedside table. “I’m sorry to have to do this now, but everyone is in a panic, and I don’t want to speak to anyone before I’ve had a chance to discuss everything with you.”
