Chapter 13

DYLAN

Dr. Hillary borrows Ellie's car again for us to go fast on our destination. She was the one who is driving again. After how many minutes, we reached the factory where Mr. Froilan works. We look around to find him and Dr. Hillary suddenly pointing an old man.

"I can't remember Mr. Froilan's face but that man looks familiar to me" she said. We walk toward that man near the truck.

"Excuse me sir, we are looking for Mr. Froilan" I said.

"I'm Froilan" he answered.

"Can we ask you some questions? There is something we need to know" the old man look at us from head to toes and slowly nod.

"Can you wait for my break time? I'm currently working now" he said.

"Of course, sir... Take your time" we walked away and wait for him for his break time.

"I really hope, the information he will give is helpful for us" Dr. Hillary said.

"I want to know, what you are going to do if you find Rain again... You said that there something that happens for the both of you that's why you don't know if you're still close"

"You don't need to worry about me. What's important to me is helping Dr. Rain to go back to his old life." she said. But, I see her eyes looking so sad. I know it's hard for her but I don't want to judge easily. I think there's more story that I don't know and she can't also tell.

After a few minutes, Mr. Froilan walk towards us.

"What do you want to ask?" he said.

"Actually sir, we are doctors from South Main Hospital, I don't know if you still remember him but you're the one who helped him and take him to the hospital... We are here to thank you for what you did and we want to know how did you find him?" she explained.

"Oh... I remember you, I found you on the road in the midnight" he said.

"Road?" I don't remember myself on the road. I know we are on the woods and there are grass everywhere when we lie down.

"Yes, You were lying down there"

"Am I the only one that you saw on the road, sir?" he nod.

"This is really important for us, sir. Can you show us where did you find him?" Dr. Hillary interrupted. He look at us and sigh.

"Okay, follow my truck, I'll lead the way" we smiled and nod at him. He walk away from us while, we both go inside our car. We wait until the truck started. We follow him and just driving quietly.

There's not much car around the place and it's really quiet. We drove for about 20 minutes before the truck stops on the road. We all go out from the car. It's really hot outside and no other car was driving around the place.

"This place is not too far from my house" Dr. Hillary said. Mr. Froilan stop walking and explain how he saw Rain's body.

"This is where I found you" he said.

"About what time did you find my body?" I asked claiming as if I'm Rain.

"I think it's 2:30 or 3:00 in the midnight"

"Is this place not far from Mezzo Event Place?" this is the place where our engagement party occur.

"I think you will get there for about 30 minutes" he answered. He taught us on how we can go to that place. We thank him once again and finally say goodbye because he still has work. We still stay on that road.

"I don't know how Rain's body went in the road though I remember that we are lying around with many grass and it really feel so dangerous on that place" I explain.

"I think he tries to ask for help when he woke up but he failed... He is not that type of person who will just leave you behind." she said. There's a possibility that what she said is what really happen that night.

"Let's go to the event place. There's something I need to check" I said. She nod and we both go back to the car. We follow what Mr. Froilan taught us on how we can go to the event place.

It is really too far and now I understand why the 5 men who kidn*pped us bring us here. It's because there's not much people around the place. It's really quiet and the houses are miles away from each other. There are no street lights on the place and even the road is not cemented.

We finally went to the event place. I look around and suddenly remember Tammy. This is the place when I last saw her face, hug her and kiss her.

"What are we going to do here?" she asked.

"We've been kidn*pped because we are looking for Tammy that night. She said she will go to the bathroom, we waited for about half an hour but she did not come back... I want to know what happen to her. Someone told me that if I can find her, I can know where is my body. However, I don't trust that lead, I still want to make sure that it's not true" I explained.

"Then what are you going to do? Are you going to check the CCTV cameras?" she actually read my minds.

"Yes, but I hope they will allow me to see the footage that night"

"You can go ahead, I will go to the bathroom first. I... Really want to pee" she said. I laugh at her and we both walk after a second. She went to the bathroom and I went to the Authorized Room. I asked the staff and he said that he will allow me for only 10 minutes. I told him the day and time I want to see and he try to find it but we only see a blackout.

"Oh! I remember the security cameras suddenly got black out so we can't find records about what happen that night" he explain.

"How does that happen? It just black out for no reason?"

"I'm sorry that's what I know. I can't help you for now" I just sighed and get out on the room. I saw Dr. Hillary already waiting for me outside.

"Did you find something?" she immediately asked.

"No, the CCTV cameras that night were blacked out so they didn't record anything."

"It's okay, I know we can still find your fiancee... But, I saw something weird inside the bathroom. There was another door inside for Authorized Personnel only. That's the first time I saw something like that in a public bathroom"

"Then, I think this was all planned by someone" I am actually thinking that Tammy was also been kidn*pped by someone. But, I can't understand myself why I also think she was the one who planned this.

I keep having a dilemma on what really happen. But, I know Tammy can't think something like that. I know her for almost 8 years and she is one of the kindest person I know. I believe she won't think on doing something bad.

I will still find her whatever happen.
