I asked Dr. Hillary to go to Tammy's house. I want to personally asked her parents about what really happen to her. If they can't still contact her or they don't just want to let me marry her. I just overthink at everything.
We finally get to Tammy's house. Dr. Hillary said she will just wait for me until I finished talking to them. I breathe heavily before I touch the doorbell in the gate. I waited for about a minute before someone go outside and look for me. I saw Tammy's father again after a few months.
He look so sad but when he recognize me as his nephew he waved at me and smile.
"It's been a long time" her father said.
"Yes sir, I mean... Uncle, long time no see" he offer me to go inside the house and I immediately accept it. I am actually familiar to the house because I always visited them and I sometimes also sleep here. I saw Tammy's mother and offer me to sit in the sofa.
"I didn't expected your visit Rain" her mother said.
"It's just that, I have my free time today. And, I still don't have news about Tammy. I missed my... cousin. " I answered.
"Until now, we still don't have news about her. The police said she already flew outside the country but I can feel like she's still near. We can't contact her and even Dylan, her fiancee was still gone. " I also feel their concern about me. They worried so much more than I worry about Tammy.
"I promise that I will find her for you... Aunt and Uncle" I said smiling but deep inside I still also don't know how I can find her. Her family inspired me more to find Tammy.
We continue talking as if we will never meet again. They were laughing in front of me but I can read their eyes. It tells how sad and frustrated they are that Tammy was gone. Because of this, I worried more about her. I don't know if she's okay or not. If she was eating or sleeping in time. I worried that I will never find her again and that makes me angry to myself.
It was almost 2 hours after we finished our conversations and now I'm embarrassed to face Dr. Hillary. I almost forget about her and I know she was very bored now.
I knock on the driver's window 3 times as I saw her already fall asleep.
"Let's go?" she asked and I nod while getting inside the car. She started the car without saying anything.
"You're not angry right?" I asked while she's driving. It was already night and I feel so tired for the whole day.
"Of course not. I understand your situation Mr. Dylan. I also want to know what really happen because I smell something fishy about it" she answered.
"What do you mean? "
"I don't know, you told me that the night you were kidn*pped, Tammy can't be found for almost an half hour and you can't even find her inside that bathroom and the only two of you were kidn*pped. It's just like it was already planned for a long time so I'm thinking if--
"Are you telling me that Tammy ran away because she doesn't want to marry me? "
"That's not what I'm saying... I'm trying to make conclusions here. "
"Then what do you want to say? "
"First, I want to ask if there's something strange happens before that incident like, is everybody was acting normal... Something like that"
"There's none, the party was like the way I really wanted it to be so--
I suddenly remember that Tammy was also can't be found before the event start because she worries so much like she's very scared even though she's the one who's more excited than me. She also keep acting strange as if her anxiety keep on increasing.
