The waiting Game

Aroha pov

I've been on the roof for a couple of hours now and the sun is slowly starting to come up over the land. My blue eye is watching the barriers like a hawk on speed. Alice has been very quiet these past couple of hours. I know she's worried about everyone. I can feel her spirit at the barrier and she is doing some kind of secret mission on her own gathering information. Astro is right there with me watching the sky turn brighter as the sun comes up spreading across the land until it hits me and warms my body. I smile letting the sun shine on my face. As i am enjoying the sun on my face, I open my eyes only one eye is glowering green the other eye is empty and try to pull my blue eye back from the barriers but it wouldn't come back.

i stand to my feet not liking the feeling.

"Alice, what's going on?" there was no reply, so I decided to lock my mind up so no one could contact me i focus on Alice i can see her floating in the air, near the north-east area.

"if your not going to reply, Alice, I will just come to the barrier."

I jump off the top of the roof and land gracefully, clicking my neck from the left to the right i shift in to Astro quickly and sprint towards the barriers where i know my blue eye and Alice are.

Rushing past trees so fast that the run to the barrier was a big blur and felt like i only just started running as i stopped i feel my eye in the sky and Alice's spirit using my eye.

I shift into my human form and stand butt naked looking to the sky.

" Alice what is going on?" i hear her sigh out loud and come back down to the ground. She hands my eye back and steps back into my body clicking her fingers putting clothes on us.

"Sorry Aroha, Astro just needed to stand watch. I know the witches are watching our every move i was hopping some of them wanted to play and come running at the barrier. If only dad wasn't having this weekend ball id wipe them all out now"

She must really be worried about the witches. Her emotions are a little to strong i know she is trying to hide them from me.

Astro was also on edge we silently float up and sit in the sky as we think about what were going to do.

"we could take half of them out now?" Astro growls out loud causing the birds in the trees to take flight and fly anywhere but where we are.

"Remember we have Project Gate in play so let them come i wanna watch them all burn" Alice sounds so crazy but part of me would love to see that i smile a little.

"so girls what did you want to do? the barrier and the safety of my family is the most important while this ball is happening. Alice ill leave you and blue here while we watch the guest and the gate. pull back to me if anything happens Alice no chances ok?"

With that my girls were a lot better as Alice comes back out she goes invisible and i hand her my blue eye to sit and watch.

I've decided to roam in Astros form since the girls are on high alert i walk around the pack lands checking on my other traps and barriers making my way to the barrier near the out post that's set up for the guest to enter.

Walking out in the open in Astro everyone that is posted at the out post stops what they are doing and looks at me i nod and they all bow and get back to there duties as i walk back to the tree line i change back to my human form dress then float in the air to watch in silence.

using my powers i reach across the lands to the airport using magic and the airport CCTV and cameras to see the guest that have arrived with the names dad had given for the barriers and i was going beyond myself i had to check all the flights and cross checked all the names.

it was easy and a little fun to hack the airport before we headed back to my room last night i felt bad for leaving Drax alone but the girls just wouldn't let me sleep a lot had to be done regarding the witches an Alice was on her A game when we decided to have the project of a real life firewall that burnt unwanted people to a crisp, but Alice being Alice she had to go a step further as to plant bombs of lighting bolts in the outer barrier that feeds off the waterfall so it was pretty much unbreakable. If magic was to hit the barriers the barrier would suck in that energy and either project it back or push the magic in to the barrier.

Either way.. i win.

Drax pov

Waking up to an empty cold bed, I freaked out and try to reach out to link Aroha but its like i cant reach her i get up quickly and dress making my way out her room and bang on Darius door

BANG BANG BANG "Darius Darius, wake up i cant find Aroha!" BANG BANG BANG

The door swings open and Darius is standing there with his boxers pulling a t-shirt over his head with his eyes glazed over trying to link Aroha he stumbles to put his pants on.

" i have already tried to link her and not getting anything" Darius looks at me with a frown on his face

"Did she not come to bed last night?" He looks to me for an answer and i say nothing. Just shook my head no "i fall asleep before she got out of the shower i just thought she would come to bed"

He runs out the room down the hall and outside the pack house and quickly shifts in to his wolf and runs down the driveway, I follow in my human form all the way to the front gates. As we reach the gate Darius in his wolf form sits at the gate looking up and starts to bark.

As i look up i see Aroha floating in the sky Arms folded and eyes closed without thinking i float up to my Queen.

"Babe is everything ok?''

''Everything is fine Mate ill be on look out till everyone arrives Alice is at the north east barriers watching with blue"

Not sure what that means but i grab her and hug her feeling her emotions she relaxes instantly.

Darius starts to bark at us and Aroha quickly lets go and looks to the outpost.

we see a black car has arrived.

within seconds James, Amera and Yun are right next to Darius. Aroha looks down at James and he bows and walks out the barrier with Amera right behind him as they get to the outpost the people in the car all hop out and show their I.D to James who scans them and allows them entrance.

Watching as 4 people look scared to cross the barriers all of sudden i feel Aroha glamour us i look down at my hand and i cant see it i look to my other hand and its not there either.

Aroha then lets go and watches them very closely as they cross the barrier hoping for something to happen i can feel her excitement in the air and to be honest its turning me on. I've been wanting to f*** her brains in but a lot keeps happening and i understand she feels like she needs to protect her brothers and her father but i know it will just make me very protective of her.

I've been looking forward to seeing Aroha in a s*x dress, its only been track suits and big hoodies i understand why and i thank the moon goddess that Aroha is paired with me she gives no reason for any guy to look at her and has even given herself to me mind body and soul.

I watch as she huffs in annoyance as nothing happens to the people that have passed through the barriers. I smile knowing she was waiting for someone to explode, this girl is nuts and i bloody love it my wolf howling in pure bless at our mates' expression on her face her cheeks puffed out and her lips in a pout the cuties i've ever seen her and she looks so disappointed.

Sitting in the sky, invisible just watching as guests kept arriving throughout the day with my Queen was a little strange, but it was fun to watch her in her element. Every time a new guest arrived, Aro would have an interesting look on her face.As the last of the guest where arriving Aro noticed this last person was a little off she had her hood up covering her face as the guest was talking to James.

Aroha POV

Watching and waiting as all our guest show up as I was sitting high in the sky inside the barriers, watching the outpost like a hawk was a little boring.But as the last person arrived i could feel Alice her power was going a little haywire.

'' Alice, what's going on?''

'' im fine. Aro keep your eye on that guest at the barrier. Those witches watching us look a little scared of our new guest baby. I don't think they expected this guest to come''

I watch as James is talking to our newly arrived guest with her hood up.I drop myself from the sky landing just in front of the gate outside the barrier's i wait a couple seconds for Drax to catch up and start to walk towards James and our guest.

As we get closer to them James and the others stop and turn and bow.

''James explain'' i link him feeling a little mad.

" My Queen Alpha James explained to me about this woman being best friends with the Former Luna''

James seemed a little scared.

'' please remove your hood and mask before entering my lands''

The lady nodded then dropped her hood and removed her mask, leaving me in shock. She had burns all over her face, covering over 80 percent of her body.

As she step into the barriers, I heard her gasp and then fall to her knees.

i watch as she stands with the help of James.

'' you're cassy's little girl?arent you?''

My head whipped so fast to meet her face that my own hood falls down and my hair spills out.

''How do you know of me witch?''

i stand tall and let Astro's power leek off me.

She looks shocked and confused as she can only scene Astro.

''My name is Devinnah. I'm Luna Cassy's best friend and power sister. She told me all about her little Aroha. She often talked about you when it was just her and I.but she did say you were half wolf, half witch. But I cant scene your witch..''

I looked at her for a moment, then looked back at James and frowned.

'' show our guest to her room''

With that i walked off into the forest and headed to Alice. Did mum really trust her enough to tell her who i was? And how much does she know about me? She couldn't scene Alice? Something was off about this one and I'm not sure what it is. Her magic was weak but familiar. i couldn't put my finger on it.

''James watch her'' I linked him getting a quick reply.

'' Yes my queen''

I stopped in my tracks when i noticed Drax still following me.

'', I'm sorry Drax, you can go eat and rest if you want, I have still got a little more work to do before coming inside''

He just smiles at me and grabs my hand, pulling me towards where Alice is.

''Come on baby, the faster we get this done the faster we can eat''

I smile and keep walking with Drax feeling myself relax a little as we walk.

Getting to Alice her power was booming i quickly fly up to her and we form back in to one.

Letting her emotions and power back into me she seemed a little on edge.

Taking a deep breath i slowly watch a rewind of Alice and her thoughts.she wants to wipe them witches out before they do something stupid or attack the pack.

''We need to wait, Alice let them try to come to us if they do ill, give you full rain OK''

That seemed to relax her a little bit '' come on baby, let's go eat your dad said he's been trying to reach you but your link is blocked? Your brothers are saying the same thing and Daminon wont stop whining. So we better get back. It's OK I got you'' he says, reaching out his hand to me.

Getting to the eating hall i know it's packed in there. I can feel everyone in there i stop and look around making Drax a little nervous ''Did you wanna eat in our room instead?'' he asked, making me smile '' i think we should have dinner in our room aro i want to check up on the barrier from the laptop'' i sigh out loud ''i think i will have dinner in our room Drax Alice is feeling a little off i don't want to freak anyone out if she decides to do anything''

''Thats fine my love you head up and shower ill Fitch our food'' he kisses my head and heads into the eating hall.

James pvo

As everyone was gathering in the eating hall i see the boys Darius and Damion looking around the room for Aro even her dad was looking frustrated as i get to the boys their faces light up as if i know where Aro was.

''sorry Alpha boys Aro has her wall up shes blocking everyone at the moment i think shes just a little overwhelmed'' i bow to them and walk away as i hear Damion start to whine.

"my king the boys and the alpha seem frustrated is Aro ok?Damion has just started bitching''

I wait a little for a reply as im walking around the eating hall making sure everything is in order.

"james Aro and i will be eating in our room tonight she has a little more work to do''

''yes my king ill send food up straight away''

As im packing up trays of food for my king and queen, Yun and Amera appear also looking for Aro and Drax we make eye contact and all i do is shake my head as they make there way over to me.

They both watch as im packing to trays full of food Amera smiles and walks to the kitchen and back with a big chocolate cake while Yun follows with milk and water.

As we are about to leave the eating hall Darius and Damion stand so fast and run to us ignoring everyone tats watching.

''is she eating in her room?is she ok?''

i simply just nod and nod my head top the door and they all smile.

As we make our way to Aros room chatting i feel a great shift in power as my feet walk faster to Aros room.

i go to knock but the door flys open before i could touch the door and i see i very scared looking Drax i push past me place the tray down and look over to Aro who is sitting at her desk with a forcefield up around her.

As i stand at the forcefield she notices me and frowns ''James...?'' i bow and enter the forcefield ''whats going on Aro are you ok?where is Alice?''

she sighs loudly and leans back in her seat ''south east barriers watching these witches''

she turns her laptop around and i see almost 1000 witches maybe more on her screen and a blue glow in the sky.

i look over to Aro who has her eyes closed ''Whats the plan?'' i asked siting on her desk.

''you will stay and watch over our guest and the pack along with the boys yun and Amera.Drax and i will go stand watch out on the barrier'' she stands and pulls her suitcases out and quickly changes.

''Aro how about eating first?'' i watch as she sighs and sits down in her death dealer outfit and starts to eat in silence.

We all sit and watch her carefully not saying a word then before she could move i get a link from king Alexs

''James watch my daughter closely there are witches and demons waiting her at the barriers.keep Drax behind to watch the pack you will accompany her'' i nod and bow to none they all look at me.

''change of plans Aro.Drax will stay behind to watch the guests and pack.orders from the king ill be accompany you'' Draxs starts to huff and puff then agrees and sits right next to Aro.

" i will go tell father then leave for the barriers '' Aro stands and makes her way to the eating hall as we get to the big doors to the eating hall she stops in her tracks and turns around and we all see Devinnah standing with her hood up and mask on.

'' what do you know about the demons and witches sitting at my barriers?''Aros face void of any emotion.

''They are after the waterfall powers they think they can take the power from it but you and i both know that not the case right Aroha?''

i stand straight and tower over Devinnah letting little power roll off me catching Aro by surprise as she places her hand on my shoulder shaking her head ''its ok James she will tell us what we need to know'' i nod and step back as Aro steps towards Devinnah.

I watch as Devinnah freezes up and doesn't move looking a little scared as Aro makes her way towards her.

As Aro is standing infront of Devinnah, Devinnah drops to her knees as Aros eyes start to glow bright gold.

Aro raises her hand and places it on Devinnahs head. After a couple minutes, Devinnah starts to cry and everyone's eyes go wide as Aros power does a full 360 and starts to drip heavily.

I feel the tension in the air as Aros power grows stronger and with out a word Aro grabs Devinnah by the collar and heads to the eating hall door and kicks it open dragging Devinnah along with her towards her fathers table throwing Devinnah to her fathers feet.

Arohas pov

This Devinnah witch throught i wouldn't find out but i did stupid father letting her in here i think as i face my father with anger not caring about who was around.

''you let her in here!you will be in charge of watching her..she brought her coven and they are standing right outside my barriers either you tell her to leave or ill kill them all! im haven't done so yet because she knows mother'' i link my father the last part as he is standing in shock ''Take her to the cells Ben watch her'' my father yells orders.

''Devinnah if anyone gets so much as a scratch on them because of this ill wipe out your whole clan'' i state so everyone can hear me.

i go to turn and walk out when i hear my father speak ''whats going on baby?''

''They want whats ours il deal with this quickly and give the packs a solution to there attacks on their packs'' I link my father as i walk off everyone in the eating hall was in rage trying to ask my father for information as the crew and i walk out and to fathers office.

''Keep everyone inside.No one is to be near the barriers.Boys orbs on my flank.James we leave in 10.Darius Damion your on the packlands and orbs, if you need help pull in Matthew and uncle Chase.Let Dad deal with everyone els.''

Alpha James

The s**t my little girl does always surprise me and always leaves me in the s**t with someone and this time it's the Alphas I laugh as everyone in the eating hall is in shock and arguing Ben looks over with a smile as does chase who's also laughing at what Aroha just did.Watching Matthew and Joe taking orders from Darius and Damion as the Alphas try to come to terms of what just happened.taking a deep breath and stand getting everyone's attention.

"Alphas please I have alot to explain and I hope that you understand why I had to do what I did..As you know I lost my luna and my oldest daughter to witches that attacked my lands along with rouges looking for something.The young girl that everyone just saw is my youngest daughter Aroha Selena Black.my youngest is half witch half wolf that is why both me and my luna made the decision to hide our baby from the world.she has control over both her witch and her wolf.the group you see with her also know and help her do certain things to protect this pack and her family.i know alot of us are experiencing a higher rate in attacks with rouges and witch's and if you could all give me time I'm sure we could all help each other. as you may have seen the out post and barriers around my lands that protect us all we have extra procedures incase of emergency and tomorrow you will see our newly updated armory and training schedules that have helped us better our warriors and our pack as a family.what I'm trying to say is that my daughter is still a wolf despite the fact she is also a witch she protects this pack because we are her family.my pack accept her no matter what she is and who her friends are..as you can see Yun is a vampire and a king in his city along side Alpha Drax a werewolf and a fairy king and his people..Amera here is a witch but also not from this world as is her brother James.not to mention my daughter is mated to Alpha Drax who you will all see around.."

"a half breed.."

"what could a half witch do to help us?"

"was it her that set up that barrier?"

"Alpha Drax .. didn't he win the last Alpha tournament"

"I don't believe she can control both her witch and wolf shell have to be royalty"

I can hear everyone's questions some louder then others as Amera walks up with Yun hot on her tail she walks to me and whisper

"may I address everyone on behalf of Aro?"

I nod as I bang the table getting everyone's attention again..

"Aroha has put the pack on lock down no one is to exit this house and no one is to be near the barriers.Aroha has created barriers that kill on sight so that anyone who was not invited couldn't get in and couldn't leave.Aroha has a defense system put in place that could help everyone's attack situation.please leave all questions to the end and a reminder you are all safe in this packhouse not even a atomic bomb could hurt the packhouse."

"If you could all turn your seats to the wall over to the left here" Yun says as he sets up and orb on the wall that turns into a big screen it has a basic setup boundarie lines barriers 4 orbs bunkers and defense traps.everything looks like a video game very easy to use and very simple.

in the corner of my eye I see Damion Darius get up and leave the eating hall.

Amera and Yun still giving their presentation of Arohas simple design.they explain how two people can control orbs and barriers are put up that connect to the set up and how new training times will help with border control on everyone's packlands.leaving out any extra magic like portals.

Alice pov

Before leaving this world ill leave behind things to help my family and my pack I've left my programs to Yun Amera and Darius teaching them how to create what I've done but at a much smaller scale where each tablet have one main barrier and a packhouse barrier.and each had four orbs and were only controlled by two people mainly being the Alpha and the Beta.

and each tablet had two watches that were easier to watch the barriers and so on while doing your every day things.

No portals No traps and no extra power.

Every tablet got a couple bunkers for the women and children incase of emergency.

This tech was only going to be given out at a price and a signature for a peace treaty between packs making my Dad's pack the most powerful when Darius takes over it was the most I could do for my brother he deserved it.

I'm suited up and heading to the front of the pack house to wait for James.

I close my eyes checking up on everything the barriers and the lake over to the city just incase they try to attack there too.

The orbs watching the barrier are being controlled by the boys at the moment showing the Alphas how to control them and what to do just incase.

As I open my eyes I feel James walk out dressed like me and ready for battle.he looks over to where I'm standing bows and proceeds to walk towards the barriers as I follow.

the excitement I'm getting is a rush I wanna watch as they run at my barriers so I can watch them all die without having to do a thing.

It didn't take us long to reach the barriers as James and I float upto the orbs inside the barrier and stand our ground.

we are standing there for about 10 minutes before I start to become impatient.

"let's drew them out James??"

I link him as I raise my hands and slowly raise the power of the waterfall using it as a beckon and we watch as most of the witches are going a little crazy I feel them they can all feel the waterfalls power.

I watch as a group of 10 are close to the barriers as they watch a could birds and rabbits pass the barriers and carry on their furry little life's.

I see a couple witches are smiling to each other and nod and take the leap of faith and walk towards the barrier.

I smile knowing what's about to happen..

They both step through the barrier..

Boom!!

within less than a second both body's are burnt to a crisp one falls just on the outside of the barrier black and dead while the other falls inside the barrier and turns to dust.

The other witches look angry some even scared like they wanna go back home.

James is in awe as my new barriers worked a little to well he drops to the ground near the barrier making one of the witches near the barriers scream.i hold my ears as I watch James pull out a star and throws it straight into the screaming witches head killing him instantly then pulls his hand back calling for his star as it comes back to him and he catches it smiling.

"The new barrier is outstanding but way to o.p Alice I'm never gonna get a chance to play with them if they all burn.."

" we wait" I stop him mid conversation with a frown he just sighs out loud and comes to stand next to me in mid air watching over the barriers.

As time passes and nomore witches want to go up against the barrier I see in the corner of my eye a dark and old power of a young man who is looking at me with excitement I raise my eyebrow as I turn my whole body towards the person and take in a tall handsome young man no older then me with dark black hair and purple eyes.we lock eyes for a moment and flash backs of my old life hit me.those eyes look very familiar who is that I feel like I know him..i hear James breath out a name I've never heard "Dayma" my head whipped so fast to meet James that when I looked back the purple eyed man was gone..

"James?? who was that??"

I watch as James is in a link with someone and after a little waiting her turns to me.

"That was Demond king Dayma Tempest I'm sorry Alice but king Alex doesn't want you getting involved with him especially after your past lifes"

I look at James for more information but he goes blank again talking to my father.

now I feel clueless who was that?how does he know me?what happened in our past life?he seems so familiar but I can't put my finger on it.

As I have more questions then answers and I hate not knowing anything.my mood gets the best of me and I pull the remaining witches at the barrier towards me there screams are silenced by a loud BANG! as they all turn to dust.

Dark clouds over our heads my mood is so bad I don't want to wait anymore..
