Rahn's POV. We have been walking for hours on a singular sandu trail, surrounded by two thick bushes. The only sounds in the air being the crunch of the sand and stones under our feet, the swooshing of the bushes when the wind blows and the distant chirp of birds in some trees. Saskie is walking a few steps ahead of me, leading the way with her gaze fixed to the ground. The first few hours of our walk, I spent them in my head, lost in my thoughts but for the past hour and half, my eyes have been fixed on her, thoughts invaded by her very being. It has been about three hours since we last spoke, the silence taking over the better part of the journey. At first it was comfortable because I was barely paying attention to my surroundings, but now it only makes me want to run into the bushes.
