"Ah..." Kayla finally snapped to attention as the wild wolf bared its teeth at her, its foul stench hitting her like a wall.
"Don't be afraid, protect yourself," Sheree instructed Kayla, whipping out a small knife she had stashed away, her eyes locked intently on the wild wolf in front of them.
Kayla hid entirely behind Sheree, occasionally letting out shrill, panicked screams.
"Zip it, stay quiet," Sheree turned her head, glaring fiercely at Kayla. It was the first time Sheree had ever yelled at her.
"Look out, Sheree!" Kayla's eyes widened as she saw the wolf pounce towards Sheree.
Seeing Kayla's reaction, Sheree immediately understood that the wolf was attempting a sneak attack. She swiftly rolled out of the way.
The wolf missed its target and swung its paw menacingly at Kay
