"Hold your horses. Quade and his crew might have already taken over our cave. We need to keep our wits about us," Jackson advised Lily, wary of getting tangled up with Quade and his gang again.
"I understand, Captain," Lily replied, her smile fading into a serious expression, as if they were about to embark on a perilous adventure.
"Lily, there's no need to be so tense. We just need to be a little careful," Jackson chuckled, unable to resist smiling at Lily's demeanor.
This little gal was simply irresistible.
Lily grinned back at Jackson, glancing down at the cave below.
"Maybe we should steer clear, Captain. If those three latch onto us, it'll be a real hassle."
