Chapter 8: Jealous KissesThe next day, she finds herself guiltily scheduling an appointment with Aiden as well, knowing that he would be able to tell that she's spent time with his twin brother the moment he returns home.
He messaged her back, offering her dinner at his home and a car to pick her up.
The black sedan parks in front of her house a little before six and she barely had time to change into new clothes after her last class before rushing out to climb into the car. The driver they've sent for her is a young human male who smiles softly at her as he closes the door, and then climbs into the driver's seat.
"How long is it going to take?" she asks, remembering how long her buses took her but knowing a direct route would not take as long.
"About half an hour."
