Chapter 11: BondSeven months later, she sits in the doctor's office with a hand placed gingerly on her obviously pregnant belly. She has gone back to school the moment her heat is over. Even though both Alphas are reluctant to let her out of their sights, they understand that she has to have a life beyond them.
She rubs her hands restlessly over her belly, wondering what's taking the doctor so long to look at her file. They've taken a scan of her pregnant belly before disappearing into the hall and whispering among themselves.
Aiden sides to her left and Hamilton to her right. Both look equally nervous but offer her soft smiles when she turns to them. "It's going to be alright," Aiden says with a confidence that is not reflected in his eyes.
"You don't know that," she whispers.
