“Who the f*ck told you to drink?” his voice boomed in my ear. I could only feel nauseous hearing him. My head was hurting and I gagged every time I breathed.
“Here.” James gave the glass of water to him as I weakly reached for it. He sat on the bed and helped me sit. I was too weak to do anything. I drank the water. “Drink all of them,” he told and I did it so. I breathed in when I drank all the water as James took the glass from me.
“How are you feeling now?” he asked while rubbing my back.
“Terrible.”
“No wonder. You drink too much last night. Next time don’t listen to what Linda orders you. You are a f*****g seventeen, Eve. You are not legal to drink. Not yet.”
