I could not look up so I bowed.
"Ma'am" I heard and had to look up.
It was the guard who brought me to the room. I breathed a sigh of relief. I could not imagine meeting him again after my experience with him.
"Y-you called me?"
"The alpha asked that you return to your place". I nodded but quickly muttered a yes. "I will take you back" he added and opened the door.
Though I felt tired, I still dragged myself and follow him from behind. There was only a guard by the door when we got there. He looked away when he saw me. As we walked through the hallway, all the maids we met tried as much as they can, not to look at me. I knew something had changed.
"Maybe they think something must have happened between me and the Alpha and are now showing me some respect," I thought but shrugged off
