I stared at Smith. Why would Jade send them to attack me? I know she doesn't like me. But that should not make her do this to me. "I thought she wanted to be my friend?"
"I am so surprised she did this" Smith said and I sighed. It isn't a surprise to me that she attacked me. But what surprised me most is that she sent angry pack members to me for no reason. "Did you once suspect her?"
I shrugged. I can't tell him I do. "No, I did not"
He sighed. "You shouldn't be surprised though. She must have considered you as a rival"
I rolled my eyes. Why consider me a rival when I can't become the Luna?
"Why would she think that way? I can't become the Luna..."
"But you can take over the Alpha's heart. You are already doing that"
