Dekker and I left towards our home, but it was too late, the Grezel authority have set the guards out to find him.
I looked at the sky, It was dark and scary and something scarier came out there, Along with the thunderstorms, and the night, I could see a pair of red eyes, howling all over.
I asked Dekker- " What is that?"
Dekker looked up and his face turned pale.
I asked him ance more-" Dekker? Would you tell me what is going on?"
Dekker said in a panic voice-" We should leave"
I asked -" Why? What do you look so pale? What is that thing?"
Dekker lowered his tone and replied-" Gambler of Ghosts"
I asked-" What is that?"
He replied-" In the prison of Grezel, the witches and Warlocks that have been locked up so far are dangerous, hence this area is protected by the bodies, who are neither living beings nor the dead. They have the power to control the magic in us, protecting this Grezel from escaping anyone outside"
I replied-" So, due to the escape of Ben Dunnie, they are here?"
He replied-" Yes princess"
I replied -" We should head home now"
He said looking at me-" It's a too late princess"
I asked -" What do you mean?"
Just then, I look up and I saw the red eyes in front of me, In the darkness of the night, I could just see the giant eyes coming towards me. I panicked and fell to the ground. I saw shadow hands are coming towards me and I started crawling backward.
Then I could hear a voice in a hushed tone-" I can smell him in you"
Dekker shouted from where he was standing-" Run, Princess, run"
I started running towards the woods, I looked back and saw Dekker was trying to stop them. But it was all in vain. Our powers were not working here, and they easily got Dekker by his throat. His legs were struggling to reach the ground and they were choking him. They took him near and they smelled him, and after a few minutes, they threw him away to the ground.
I was so scared that I ran forward to find the gate. So I could call for help, but rather I lost in the woods.
The moment got back my consciousness, I realized that I was lost, I tried to look back the way back but it was too dark to see anything.
While I was walking through the woods, I ran into a man and we both fell off. It was dark so I couldn't see him clearly, I got up on my feet and gave him my hands to help. He grabbed my hands and suddenly he threw me back to the ground. I saw he took out a knife from his pocket and jumped towards me, I rolled over to the other side and somehow I escape.
I was out of my breath and I asked him -" Wait, Who are you? Why do you want to kill me?"
He replied to me in a deep voice-" You are the bloodline of Macduff?"
I was shocked and replied somehow-" Yes, I am Parshawna Macduff"
The next moment he grabbed my hands and twisted them, I shouted in the pain and he tried to stab me once again. Just then, I saw the Golden wand appeared in front of me, I grabbed the wand and cast the spell to freeze him - 'Gledia'
I thought the powers did not work here but I could actually do a magic spell here with my golden wand.
He was frozen for few minutes only allowing him to talk.
I stood up and look at him, and I recognize it, I said-" It was you. Ben Dunniee."
He smirked and replied-" Indeed it was me."
I asked-" You called me here, and you want to kill me? I came here to help you"
He tried to get out of the spell but all his effort was useless, he couldn't move an inch.
I asked him once again-" Answer me"
He smirked and replied-" What do you expect from a prisoner? I would invite you over for a welcome? Your father had killed my family, He put me into this jail. I want revenge. By killing you"
I looked at him with a puzzle, and then undo the spell - 'Gelatum'
I said-" Wait, I have something for you"
I took out a letter and handed it over to him. He looked at me with a glare and snatched the letter.
I said-" It was not my father who killed your family. And I know it was not you who helped the 'Tenners' to win that battle. I know you did not commit any crime."
He read that letter and the tears rolled out from his eyes, He asked-" How do you know all this and where did you get this letter from?"
I said-" After I received your letter, I tried to search for you, but it was nothing written about you anywhere. So after that, I went to our Library and searched for the forbidden history sculptures for you and I got this letter on one of the shelves. I don't know who is this one from, but I know you were innocent and this was all a mistake. I came here to help you and in return asking you to help me."
He clutched the letter to his chest and cried over kneeling. I went over him and tried to console him.
I said-" I believe you know about the famous Golden wand? "
He looked and me and nodded. I said-" This time it chose me"
He looked surprised and asked-" what?"
I said-" Yes, and since I found this wand everything around me seemed very confusing. I saw my mom in my dreams two days ago, and she mentioned you. She asked me to find you."
His eyes were in tears again and he asked-" Gracious? How is she?"
I replied after a pause-" Dead"
He looked at me with surprised eyes and asked-" What?"
I replied-" Yes, She died last year. After that, I found out I am a witch and I found this wand since then everything has changed. And I believe you can help me. The dream which I saw was a little weird, She told me the name ' Lady Georgia' I don't know who that was and then she asks me to meet you. And then I received your letter"
He was shocked to hear what I have told him. He asked-" This is all you saw in your dream?"
I nodded. He said-" Well, I got the news that Macduff's bloodline heir has arrived, I asked you to meet me so that I could take revenge on you."
I stepped backward in fear. He then looked at me and said-" Don't worry I will not kill you yet,"
I said-" Mom told me something like ' She is back' Do you know anything about this? Can you help me with this?"
He asked-" Why would I help you?"
I begged him-" Please, Uncle, I don't know but I feel a connection of a family with you, My instinct is asking me to believe in you."
He Turned away and said-" Well, If this letter is true, and whatever you told me is true, Then, I need to find few answers first. I need to escape from this place."
I looked at him with a blank face.
He smiled and replied-" Don't worry you have my words I will come back soon dear"
I agreed to help him to escape. Just then, I heard the hissing sound all over from around. He said-" Quickly"
I cast the spell to open a portal-"Aperire-Portal"
He went inside and vanished, The portal closed and just then the ghosts surrounded me, They started screaming all over which made me bleed from my nose and ears, I kneeled downed to the ground and cover my ears. But the sound kept making me dizzy. I fell off and then, a light appeared in the dark, I saw a figure, I blinked twice to see the clear image and it was my Grandmother. I saw father and Dekker behind and I wanted to call them but I fell off unconscious.
