End Of The First Year

The next day was brightly sunny and calm, but it felt like trouble. It passed two days, that I was waiting for grandma to come and talk to me, but actually, nobody talked about that incident to me.
I was sitting at the breakfast table when I heard other students murmuring about something. I looked up towards them and they were partially looking at me. They stopped when I looked at them. I understood they were all talking about me. I looked away.
Just then Jennifer walked in with Cresseda and Cassie. They sat at the front table of mine.
Cassie taunted me-" Someone who we thought to be the princess and royal, is the real evil!!!"
Cresseda acted to be concerned and replied-" I heard she almost killed all her friends and She possessed Prince Priam!"
Jennifer frowned and replied in disgust-" Royal? On which profile does she is Royal? To be royal You need to belong to both royal parents. Don't forget she is a mudblood!!!"
They laughed. I tried to avoid them, but tears rolled downed from my eyes. All my friends were under professor Dunston's eyes for rest since their celestial bodies have been separated, they had become weak. Priam also didn't see in these days. I was alone.
I finished my breakfast and went out of the cafeteria.
I waited for my friends to return. Two classes passed and Priam walked in.
Professor Hyle said-" Oh dear!!! Are you okay now?"
Priam smiled and replied-" As healthy as a horse"
He looked at me but I couldn't look at him with all those guilt.
The whole day I avoided him, but in the evening we met face to face in the library again.
I tried to walk away but he holds my hands and stopped me. He took me in the corner and asked-" What happened? Why are you trying to avoid me?"
I couldn't look at him and I just replied -" I am not, I am just busy"
He looked worried and replied to me-" Shawna? I thought We are finally coming close!!!"
I stopped him in between and replied-" There is nothing!!! I can't. People like me are what you won't like."
Tears rolled down my eyes and I ran away from there. He realized something was wrong with me.
more days passed, we were coming to finals.
My friends were not well yet. I prayed to God every day that they get well soon, but nothing seems working.
After the class, I went to visit them after a week. But I saw their parents came to visit them. While I was walking away as I didn't want them to disturb I overheard them.
John's mother asked-" Are you alright?"
John replied-" Yes mom, I am all good now"
Jenny’s father said-" We heard what happened and I think you guys should make a distance from now on, else you will get in troubles more like this"
Junnie tried to make them understand-" But it was not her fault"
Jenny's mother spoke out" See dear she might be a princess, but for us, you guys are the most important person"
I understood they do not want me to see them again, So I left the flowers there which I bought for them.
Priam saw what happened there. I ran towards the garden, he followed me.
Priam called-" Shawna wait!!!"
I kept running away and I stopped by the fountain he followed me there.
I was crying, he holds my hand and said-" Shawna.!!!"
I shouted at him-" What? What do you want?"
He replied-" I want to talk to you!"
I replied-" Regarding what? Cant, you see? You should not be with me? I am the trouble!!!"
He gripped my hands more tightly and replied-" I will never let go of you"
I broke down in his arms and he tried to console me.
He replied-" I know what happened I heard what Jennifer snd her friends told about you and I heard what happened just now. But Shawna knows that it was not your fault. In fact, I was the real reason. She possessed me"
I said-" But I was the one who tried to dig out things that I shouldn't have. I should have listened. See what happened, I put all of you guys in danger and Grandma is also not talking to me anymore!"
He said-" Did you tried to reach your family?"
I said-" Yes, But father went out with some court works, I wrote a letter to grandma but she never replied. I know I have offended her, and probably I think she will never talk to me again."
He holds my face in his palm and looked at me in his eyes and replied-" You are the most amazing person I have seen. And as for your grandma, Look behind.!"
I turned around and I saw grandma standing there. I was overjoyed and ran into her, she gave me a long hug.
I said-" Grandma!!! I am sorry"
She wiped out my tears and replied-" Oh my dear precious Parshawna!! How did you think I would be angry with you? I was just worried"
I said-" I know grandma, I should have listened to you."
She said-" You are the princess, next heir of the kingdom. It's okay to be stubborn, I once was. Maybe you inheritance it from me. "
We smiled.
Grandma said-" It was never your fault and having the urge to know is not a fault either, But You should be careful dear. If something happened to you, what would I have done?"
I said-" I promise grandma, I will obey"
She smiled and replied-" You are the princess of Witchdom, You should know you have lots of responsibilities."
I hugged and replied-" I know. I thought You will never meet me again."
She replied -" Well, I was a little angry with you, but it was my worry. But this fine young man had found the way to convenience me and tell me the whole truth."
I looked at him and said-" Truth?"
He replied-" Yes, Jennifer and her friends had spread the rumor that you are the reason we got hurt, but It was not true. you are the reason we were still alive. You fought for us, You went back to fight with that evil"
Grandma said-" Now everyone knows the truth dear"
I replied-" But who was she? and what does she wanted?"
Grandma replied and seemed a little worried-" That was yet to be found but font worry our guards are working together."
I saw John, Brad, Jenney, and Junnie walked towards us. I was so very happy to see them and ran towards them. But I stopped when I saw their parents behind their back.
But to my surprise, they said-" We are sorry dear, We misjudged you." Said John's mother.
Jenny's dad came forth and said-" Thank you princess for saving our children's life"
I smiled with joy and hugged them. I was very happy to get back my friends once again.
And by that, after a month our first year finally ended. It was a farewell and holiday announcement for the next few months.
We gathered at the hall where principal Malcom came along with other professors and the council members.
He said-" Very good evening my students!! Today, I congratulate you on completing your first year in this school. Everyone has been amazing so far and we all have gone from ups and downs. I believe you made friends that will now stay for a lifetime and gathered the knowledge you were here for. As for today, it is the announcement day for the winners of the house as promised at the beginning of this year.

I looked down as I knew it was for me, that broke the rules and got deducted.
Jennifer and her friends seemed very happy. And just then Principal Malcom announced something which turned the table.
Mr, Malcom replied-" But, There was an exception this year, few of our students have shown courage, and bring out the truth. What we try to teach here is humanity, and they showed what real friends are.
Mr. Priam, had the courage to spoke the truth about the incident, That it was not anyone's fault and we got to the conclusion. And Miss Parshawna had shown courage enough to fight for her friends. To this event of celebrating I hereby give you guys a bonus of full 50 marks.

The students clapped for us. I looked at them and now they no longer hate me, They now know the truth, and I was happy.
But Mr. Lynin and Jennifer did not look happy at all. they left from there.
By the next two days, we packed our bags and are ready to go home for few days. We said goodbye to each other. John, Brad, Junnie, and Jenny left early. Priam and I were waiting for fir our carriage near the fountain.
He was staring at me. I noticed and asked him-" Is something wrong?"
He replied-" Does it have to be? I mean it could be something good"
I looked down and kept quiet. When Jennifer arrived at the spot with her baggage. She tried to have a conversation with Priam which he ignored totally.
His carriage arrived and so was mine. He came to me closer to my ears and whispered-" see you soon, Till then I will miss you"
His words made me nervous and almost lose consciousness. I tried to keep myself calm and I nodded. He smiled and kissed my cheeks before leaving. I was stunned and stared at him.
Inside of his carriage, he replied-" make that an even too"
He left and I blushed. Jennifer looked at me with disgust and left in anger. She said-" That bloody mudblood b***h"
But for the rest of the year is in end and finally, I am going back home.
