I drove down the highway heading for my office as the morning wind blew from side to side but my mind ran wild as I thought about the weight of the ongoing case between Damian and I."How did we both get here?" I muttered to myself.
In all I knew I didn't want anything but my freedom from him.
I was now almost at work when my car jerked forward making a loud thump thump,I gripped the steering wheel while timeneously pulling over to the side of the road.
I noticed I had a flat tire while stepping out of my car.
