Janet had barely sat down when she heard the gunshot followed by piercing screams . Shaking with fear , she tiptoed to the window and slightly pulled the curtains aside . From her position , she had a glimpse of Rose being thrown into the vehicle before it pulled away . Jason's agonized scream told her that they were being attacked . She turned to her desk phone and dialed the police hotline .

" Nooo. . .!" Jason screamed his lungs out as the vehicle bearing Rose sped off . Fuming with anger , he turned on the man whose voice box he had smashed . " Where are they taking her , and who sent you ?" He roared at the man .
