"Are you sure Tricia would want you at her wedding?" Griffin asked turning to Shaun.
"Err, of course, I'm her uncle."
"You're her uncle. No doubt, but are you family?"
Griffin's question stung Shaun like a bullet straight to the chest causing Shaun to go mute. "Of course, you don't know the answer to that," Griffin said as he stood up and left Shaun alone to his thoughts.
