Tricia stared at him like he spoke a different language. She wasn't so sure of what she wanted. After a few seconds of thinking about it all, she didn't want to rush things, and since he wasn't sure how she felt about Damien, she slowly stood up and held him on the shoulders.
He looked up at her expecting to hear her say yes. But then, she tilted her head and slowly shook it in response. Damien's smirk immediately turned to a sad face.
"I'm sorry Damien, she started. Please don't forget that we're business partners, and I don't know you well enough to start a relationship. I don't think it will be possible. But I think I should get going. Father will be waiting."
