Tricia and Griffin gave each other a weird look before Tricia invited her uncle in and gave him a seat.
Griffin escorted him to the living room, while Tricia cleared the place for him to sit and turned off the TV.
"What are you doing here Shaun?" Griffin asked with a straight face. "You left work and disappeared off the face of the earth."
"Griffin, won't you at least ask how I'm doing? Well, I'm well, I guess."
"There's no need to act dumb here."
Tricia walked in and sat at the corner of the room.
"What do you want here? And why did you have to come by this time of the night? Whatever you have to say couldn't just wait till tomorrow. Also, you couldn't just call me or Tricia or even Edward to pass the message."
"Griffin, I wanted to see you face to face. Tricia come here." Shaun c
