Chapter 02

1715 Words
The solitary witch no longer wanted to be so lonely; she desired the demon's presence all the time and felt disappointed when he came and denied her body, as he had already realized that it was no longer torture but a desire of hers. One week, she was in her plantation, and he appeared without it even being the day of the ritual. She was wearing a light brown peasant dress, a bit dirty with mud, that came slightly above her knees, and she asked: "What do you want?" "I want to observe the being so different from the others." "I am human like anyone else." "A human who prefers pain in herself rather than in others, a human who does not seek wealth but strength and wisdom, a complex human." She stood up and walked toward him, and when she was very close, she asked: "Does that bother you?" "It makes me curious." "Don't you also wish to see me more?" "To seek knowledge." In the beginning, it was really for that, but she no longer knew. Her hand sweated when he was around, her heart raced, and she felt a bit lost. "Do you take care of the animals to kill them?" "No, I care for them as pets and some to generate food for me." "Why does my goat disappear when you come?" "Because I come in his form. I am a demon and need a form to live here, and the goat is the animal that lives between the two worlds, and that's why I use him." "Is that your appearance there?" "Yes." She continued picking some herbs in the plantation and went to the kitchen to make lunch. Silence reigned with him leaning against a corner of the kitchen, watching her. "Do you want me to kill a chicken?" "No, thank you... I don't eat meat." "A natural and solitary witch who wants power and wisdom but loves animals and nature. How did you get involved with a demon?" She stayed silent because she felt ashamed of such a deed, not wanting to mess with dark magic, and he still mocked her for saying she isn't a saint. Slowly, he moved closer to her and whispered in her ear from behind. "Do you want to gain wisdom now?" She shivered all over, and he pulled her by the waist, leaving her facing him. He picked her up and took her to the bed, removed her dress, and as she was already without panties, he choked her so she couldn't even moan. He held her two hands and entered her without waiting. As he kept going, she began to turn purple. With just one hand, he turned her and left her on all fours. As he continued, he spanked her until she turned purple, and she bit the bed to avoid moaning in pain. After a good while, he stopped, picked up her dress, and put it back on her while she sat. "We demons have no power over you humans; we can only influence, but the decision is yours. Each of you has your own demon, and if you have the right power, you can command your own demon. Do you want to have enough power to command me?" She looked at him with a sore throat and a hurting butt, her eyes a bit teary, and said: "If I commanded you, would you change?" "A demon never stops being a demon." "You seem to have a good side." He went towards her and slapped her face. "A w***e who thinks there is goodness in everything. I think I was wrong; you are not different, you are just a lunatic." He left through the door, and soon his black goat was sitting at the door. She sat on the couch and started crying but soon got up because she had some aromatic candles to deliver today. While making the candles, she cried and thought. "I must be crazy. He used to hurt me once a month, now weekly, and now I've given him the freedom to come whenever he wants. Why don't I break the contract, why don't I find a way to annul it, why do I still want to see him, why is his face so beautiful, why did those big hands not hurt me so much while they beat me, why deep down, I like what he does to me. How can I like a demon knowing he will never like me?" Then came the idea of having total power to command her demon. That way, she could free him from being a demon to see if he would feel anything for her, if he would stop hurting her. Finishing the candles, she went out to deliver them, and when she returned, there was a woman waiting to perform a cord-cutting ritual. The woman said she couldn't get rid of her ex and wanted to free herself from him. They went inside, picked up the candles, the cord, and the other utensils to perform the ritual, and she did it for the woman, who immediately felt free from what she felt for her ex. The woman paid and left. During the ritual, she had the idea of making a direct pact with the demon without any ritual, just waiting for him to come back. In about a week, he should come back anyway. Meanwhile, she studied what he had said, that everyone has their own demon and that we can command them if we have greater power, but the biggest problem is having more power than the demon. How to have more power than him, even though I weekly gain wisdom from him, I don't even come close to the wisdom he has. But she did not give up, continued studying, and kept discovering more whenever he came. She began to note down in a notebook everything he had said and would say so that she could study and gain power. "She wants to show that he is not just a demon and that he has feelings." He arrived; she wasn't even prepared. This time he arrived with blood-red eyes and walked towards her. "Pay me for the favor." He slapped her face, sending her directly to the ground. He kicked her in the ribs, grabbed her by the hair, and threw her on the couch. She always stayed silent, no matter the pain she was feeling. "I asked you to stop! Beg for mercy!" Even so, she remained silent on the couch without saying anything. He continued beating her, in the face, in the ribs, punched her chest, and she only felt the pain. A tear fell from her eyes even without her saying anything, and then he stopped. He picked her up, placed her on his lap on the couch, stroked her hair trying to fix it, and hugged her tightly to stop the pain. But the more he pressed her against him, the more the pain stopped. He kissed her forehead, and her pain completely ceased, but she continued to cry. "Why did you do that?" "Why didn't you ask me to stop?" "My body is yours; you can do whatever you want." His eyes, which had been red, turned black again. That pale face with black eyes looked at her in that situation, seemingly having some feeling but what? "Demons take pleasure in pain and torture, in lying and greed, and you like none of that. It tortures me. How could you make a pact with me if you are not like me?" "I don't want to harm anything or anyone, I just want knowledge." "That makes me angry at you; it makes me want to beat and torture you to stop being so good and want to harm at least me, but no, you don't desire it." "Why would I want to harm someone I like?" "How can you like me?" "You deceive yourself, you are not just a demon, you have feelings of kindness. Look now, you are being good." "I beat you!" "You regretted it." "It's not regret, because I enjoyed what I did and would do it again." "And I would accept it again without saying anything." He placed his large hands on her face, pulled her, and kissed her. A hot kiss, his eyes turned fiery red again, and then he stood up and left. If this is his nature, and if he likes me and beats me because of it, what should I do? She went to make a compress for the places that were bruised and to take care of the injuries. I love him, I wait for him, and I don't complain about the pains he puts me through. I will do something to change this, to change his nature of causing pain and suffering. She waited and waited, and two weeks passed without him showing up. When she thought about doing a ritual to summon him, he appeared, this time calmer and without red eyes, sat at the table, and opened a book that talked about the wisdom of plants. "This is a secret book that you will never find in your world about plants. I saw that you like plants, so this is your wisdom for two weeks, and I also brought you an eternal red candle from hell." "Why did it take you two weeks?" "I was busy." "Was it because of me?" "Hellish things." "What things?" "We have our essence, and we were all angels once, but our demon essence prevailed, and we descended. If any demon loses their demon essence, they get trapped with humans, and my essence wavered because of you, but I have regained my essence." "What's the problem with living with humans?" "They are weak and ignorant beings. You intrigue me because you want to be strong and knowledgeable like us." He left the book and the candle and left. She quickly started reading the book cover to cover, wrote new potions in her notebook, new uses for certain plants, and spent a week studying, making new potions, creating new candles for sale, and planting more plants in her garden. With this new knowledge, she began to profit a lot from selling bath potions, candles, and incense.
