Wyleen glanced over as the door to their bedroom opened, Katakuri slipping inside, careful to close the door quietly behind him. “I take it you were able to put him down?” Her expression didn’t change as she returned her gaze to the book in her lap. “Yes, he is quite well-behaved, thankfully,” Katakuri replied as he started to disrobe, tossing his gloves on the vanity, removing his scarf and jacket to hang them out of the way. “As he should be.” She gave a short answer as she turned the page. “He is but an infant, dear. Though I am thankful, one shouldn’t expect a child so young to be well-behaved right out of the womb.” Glancing at her husband over the rim of her reading glasses, Wyleen did not offer much by way of response, “I suppose that is an appropriate determination.” Katakuri
