Damian's POV The news from Reeves was simple and devastating. Catherine had been found. Not by us — by Victor's people, which was worse. She'd been at a hotel in the city, apparently preparing to leave the country, when Victor's men had picked her up. Not violently — Victor was too careful for visible violence. But she was with them now, and whatever she knew — and she knew a great deal — was available to him. The specific danger of that was this: Catherine knew about the farmhouse. Not from any document.
