I could vaguely hear voices. “The only thing he can think of is that she’s alpha born. By her size, that can’t be.” I heard Parker’s faint voice. “Oh Parker, maybe this is just beyond us.” Amy sighed as I slipped further away into the darkness. The soft hum of twinkle twinkle little star filled my ears. I watched the fire as I enjoyed the soft feeling of my moms fingers running through my hair. This time when I looked back, I couldn’t hear her voice. “Focus on me.” Parker knelt in front of me. For a moment I looked over and saw guards throwing books into the fire. Everything goes black again. I gasp and sit up. I looked around my room. Parker must’ve brought me to bed. I rubbed my eyes and got up. I slowly made my way down the stairs. “I was just about to wake you sleepy head!”
