Chapter 1

I can hear the birds chirping and see the sun rising which is telling me that it’s morning and things have to wake up too. I woke up with a throbbing pain in the head and heavy eyes because I couldn’t get required sleep last night. The only good thing is that today is a Saturday that means no school. I can go on with my house chores, complete them and sleep for a while. I got up to start my day with the lengthy chores list my aunt left on the fridge top for me yesterday. She left early today for work.

Aunt Rebecca is an entrepreneur who set up her own business right after marriage. The business is growing and expanding and so is her family. Her husband is a Pastor who leads a larger congregation downtown. They have 3 kids which makes them a family of five with another baby on the way. Today, the one person that has got me covered at school and at home too will be visiting to help me get done with my chores. My only friend and a sister Isabella. Bella has been a firm pillar to me ever since I met her. I was rude to her at times but she never left me
