Kael's face turned deathly pale. He dropped his wine glass and bolted out of the villa like a madman. Shouts of alarm rang out from his friends behind him, but he heard nothing at all. Lira's soul followed closely behind, watching as he drove that sleek black sports car recklessly through the dark city streets, swerving and speeding as if he no longer cared whether he lived or died.
