"Happy birthday to you..." Logan's came over the phone immediately when I answered.

I sat up in the bed and bit my lip to suppress the yawn. I listened as he continued singing and laughed because he was a terrible singer.I squinted at the clock and saw that it was just after midnight.

"Thank you." I said after he finished the song with loud shouts of "hooray."

"Do you feel any different?" he asked and I shrugged then remembered he couldn't see me.

"No, but then again I just became 18 four minutes ago."

"Yeah, yeah and how are you feeling today?" he asked referring to my passing out yesterday.

"I feel fine, just tired that's all. I miss you Logan." I said softly then lay back on the bed.

"I know, I miss you too. It's strange being without you especially on our biggest birthdays."

"Yeah well, it sucks. But anyway, first day of school tomorrow I'm so bummed that I'll be missing it." I sighed shifting in bed.

"I'm bummed too, you'll be leaving me deal with Dave and Macy all alone." he groaned.

I giggled "Good luck with that mess." I then yawned.

"Get some rest Nikki, I'll speak to you later and once again, happy birthday."

"Goodnight Logan." I whispered then hung up.

"You know that he's going to find his mate soon right?" I heard Jake say from the other side of the room.

I turned to face him and shrugged, "Save it Jacob, I already know what you're going to say."

"Well okay then, just be careful sis."

I stayed quiet then heard him say "Happy birthday Nikki, I love you."

"Thanks Jakey, I love you too."
