Chapter 9

1123 Words
As I wake up, I raise my hand to rub my eye's wondering where I am, I don't recognize the bedding, it's not my light blue silk one's I got upon arrival, as I look around at my surrounding's I notice a heart monitor to my left with an empty fluid bag and next to it an empty blood bag, as my memory jolts back to me I gasp, I rip back the quilt to get a good view of my leg, but there is no mark to even show what happened, not even a slight redness, I stare at my leg as if I managed to dream the whole incident, as I raise my hand to my once injured shoulder, I notice it doesn't even hurt like It should.  Standing up from the single bed I proceed to pull open the door and stick my head outside the door to see if anybody is around, as soon as I stick my head through the opening a women appears directly in front of my face, from thin air. I jolt backwards in shock, as she pushes open the door. "Hi dear, I'm doctor Mcness, you gave us quite a scare for awhile with all the blood loss, but im proud to say you made a full recovery, not even a scare mark's your skin" she smiled proudly. "But, I saw the mark's, no way can they just vanish..." I mutter more to myself. "Oh, I'm a witch healer, silly me, I gave you a few healing session's while you was out for the last 48 hours, I didn't think you would want those reminders." she says. "Kind of a shame if you ask me, would make some pretty cool battle scar's." I smiled only half seriously. "That's true, but anyway your all free to leave an resume lesson's this morning but I would hurry, breakfast is almost over." she stated as she left the room waving a farewell. Well that was pleasant... Weird but pleasant, as I dragged myself from the room, I walked down the hallway, following the big green arrow's that said exit, as I round the corner,  I see a set of double door's covered in exit sticker's, somebody must have thought people couldn't read or had been here awhile an gotten excessively bored and thought why the hell not. That would have been me if I was here for long period's of time.  I honestly like any normal teenager I can't sit still, unless I'm playing a game such as, Runescape, League of Legend's or Fortnite, I recently got into that game, an to say it's addictive is the wrong word! I hadn't even noticed id reached the lunch hall, as I'd been to busy thinking of my sweet gaming set up back home. Gosh I missed my game's, I used to play with the staff at the house, for something to do other than going partying with my sister. As I pushed open the door's to enter, silence descended on the whole hall as people stop and stared directly at me. Guess people knew, shrugging my shoulder's I grabbed a bottle of water along with a bottle of A negative, as I took a quick drink of the blood I could feel the hunger leaving, I couldn't help but sigh as people we're still staring towards me as if i'd grown two head's, guess hearing i'd rushed off to help a wolf was hot topic as I spun on my heel an the whisper's begin. Drinking the last of my blood, I toss it into the bin, an head towards my first lesson obviously it just has to be with King d**k himself, huffing to myself I hadn't noticed the crowd's had split as if the path I walked was poisoned or like they might get Aid's, whisper's we're running rampant as Vampire's hissed, an some wolves' actually nodded as if to say thanks'.. Odd. As I entered the room and took my seat, the Vamp's all crowded to the opposite side of the room from me, I swear... Judgemental asshole's, like any decent living being would do any different, unless it was them, they wouldn't want to ruin those perfect nail's and hair. As the rest of the shifter's piled into class they took seat's on my side, as I watched for Amy, she dropped onto the seat next to me, an looked me up an down assessing if I had any injury's before, "You totally didn't invite the bestie to help you kick some serious ass" she hissed at me. Everybody was listening in to the conversation it was so obvious as they all flicked looks back over their shoulder's. "Sorry it was a spur of the moment thing, if I'd have known I would have invited you for sure. Male Shifter's are pig's and deserve to be taught a lesson by the female population. As the door once again opened a lone girl who kept looking at the floor walked in while King d**k was stood behind her ushering her inside, as she walked into the room her eye's slowly left the floor, an began scanning the room her eye's fell on mine, an a big smile crossed her face. Confused was the word I would use, I didn't know this girl much less gained a smile from her. "Class, this is Violet, she is a new student here, an also under pack protection. After the last few exciting day's I'm sure you are curious as to why a rogue has joined this class, as normally they tend to not be allowed to stay in one place for very long. This is a recent thing after her being discovered being attacked on school ground's not to far from here, when a student came to her aid and helped to defend her before other's could arrive, be nice to Violet an make her feel welcome" he said with a hint of a growl when he talked about the attack that she had been involved in. It suddenly all clicked into place that this was the she-wolf I had helped save from idiotic male shifter's. As she sat in the front row I couldn't help but stare at her back, wondering if she was okay, every protective instinct had flared bright, as if this girl was to be protected by me. This was not uncommon as Vampire's tended to band together into Coven's just like the shifter's banded into pack's, could she be apart of my own personal coven. As class droned on, nothing could stop me from feeling his glare directly at me, it was like a knife running over my skin. Guess he's mad. Tough.
