Winter's Choice

Chapter 4

I woke to a blaring alarm and my familiar licking my face which is what usually happens every morning. I quickly jumped out of my bed and walked into the bathroom for a shower, as I finished washing coconut conditioner out of my hair I couldn't help but be excited for today's lesson, weapon's class was first and I couldn't wait to pick mine! As I picked my black skater dress I paired it with my black and red laced heels which looked amazing, with my outfit sorted I just brushed my hair up into a ponytail and added mascara onto my lashes to bring out my purple eyes even more. Letting out my familiar through my door, he raced down the corridors towards the exit, probably to go hunting and run around with the natural wolves which had packs around the school, hopefully he didn't run into any bear's or any shifter's who thought to harm him, it has happened and the people involved fought to the death as a familiar is like family, an nobody messes with family.

As I left my dorm room I banged into Amy who looked like she was just coming for me, I couldn't help but smile as she approached and linked arm's with me and dragged me towards the cafeteria, which I honestly didn't mind much I was sooooo looking forward to food. 

Grabbing two O negative's, with an apple, pear and also some natural yogurt, I couldn't stop my stomach rumbling, walking to our table from yesterday, I noticed everybody was already seated and waiting including the vampire's from yesterday already sat with my sister Elena and laughing at random things, probably about hair and nail's. BORING.

As we sat everything went quiet as people stared once again at our table, Damien was staring behind me as was the rest of the table, Kia and Amy was looking at the table as if trying to hide their eye's from something, as curiosity got the best of me, I spun around and almost wacked into a chest which was covered by a blue t-shirt, as my eyes roamed downwards I couldn't help notice strong legs covered in dark blue jeans and combat boot's, as my eyes roamed upwards towards the guy's face I noticed he had a wolf tattoo peeking out of his shirt, guess I know what this guy is..

"Having fun checking me out? I know I'm hot but still." he said matter of fact. As I looked into his face I couldn't help but notice high cheek bones, full lips and bright red eye's framed by black hair, an better manicured eyebrow's than my own, all in all, handsome but to pretty for his own good.

"Sorry couldn't help it, my eyes just naturally dragged themselves over your outfit and my brain thought did he even put any effort in?" I snapped. His face snapped into shock as if he didn't think anybody would speak to him in such a way, probably hadn't since he was like Damien, who probably had girls throw themselves at him. As I took a breath in through my nose, I couldn't help but notice the scent which he let out which was of winter nights and snow. Nobody should smell like my favourite thing's much less this arrogant ass, it just ruins my love of the season.

Just as he was about to reply, a girl saddled herself up to him and put her arm's around his waist she was relatively average but caked in makeup to make herself stand out what solidified my next opinion.

"Hunny, why are you talking to this Vampire Hybrid trash?She's to weak and worthless to you. Don't you have better thing's to do like speak to me?" she said with a hint of a snarl. I sighed as her comment was dumb and so uncalled for and I'm not a morning person, shame she didn't think about who she was talking to before opening her mouth, pity she was about to learn, I couldn't help but role my eye's at her behaviour. 

As I rose from my seat I put my hand around her throat and lifted her from the floor, I couldn't help but hear gasps around the room as if I'd done something unthinkable.

"maybe you should watch your tone, an mind whom you speak too, do you have a death wish? Cause im happy to help you along" I Snarled as her finger's kept scratching at my hands trying for me to release her, her eyes were wide and I could detect the slightest of shaking due to my grip.

"Next time, I'd think before speaking, as of now anybody who disrespect's me or my friend's, I will personally break your jaw and maybe a few bones" I snarled at everybody in the cafeteria, as I released my grip she tumbled to the floor red faced and gasping for breath. The arrogant ass helped her up and moved towards his own table with his friends, guess I won't find out what he wanted till later.

Leaving my seat I dragged my tray with me while downing the O negative, I dumped it into the bin and left in silence which had engrossed the whole cafeteria, everybody had shocked expression's except for my sister Elena who had begun to laugh as I exited, she most doubly thought since I had done that to a wolf I was going to be firmly on her side no matter what. As I walked towards the exit into the garden's I could feel eye's on me and I couldn't help but roll my eye's as the scent of vampire rolled around on my sensitive senses, I just hoped it wasn't my chosen mate following me, I had, had enough of his drama yesterday and all I wanted to do was punch somebody in the face as it was. Walking towards the tree's I whirled around flashing my fangs at my stalker and couldn't help but snarl "WHAT do you want?" I Snarled at the person before noticing who it was, an my stomach dropped, It seemed like Mr Chosen Mate had decided to follow.

"What was that! You showed me up in front of everybody yesterday, an then created a scene just now in front of half the school! Your lucky your father is who he is as if it was anybody else I'd have dropped you on your ass by now for being disobedient! You should be seen but not heard unless spoken to like normal Vampire women!" He said harshly, before I could even snarl in his smug face again he had whirled around and began entering the building again.

As I took a deep breath in I couldn't help but mutter "Sexist pig" under my breath, not that he would hear me anyway but I was glad to release some energy. As I stared at the sky, a blaring school bell began to ring signaling classes were to begin immediately and I couldn't help but curse "s**t" I self disciplined, I ran towards the building's doors and towards my first class of the day.
