I rushed to Cassien’s side at once—
He let out a couple of sharp coughs enough to even cough his own guts..then he tried to shrug it off like it literally didn’t happen…
“I’m fine.. I’m fine…”
“No you’re not!” My tone was sharp and firm.
Gosh… don't even get tired sometimes of putting up that strong and cold front.
He was so infuriating.
He tried to guide himself to a full straight posture then…”I said, I’m fine.”
“You coughed out blood Cassien!” I shot back sharply.
“So?” He took some steps away, his movement wobbly still…
“So?” I repeated, my tone bitter. “You’re not okay. You need a doctor—“
“I said..I’m fine!” He snapped out at me.
The ferocity in his tone was enough to make me flinch…
