The Witch and The Wolf

The Oracle

Alexandria's POV   

     After having breakfast with Bjorn's family his father insisted that I go talk to the oracle that lives with in their pack. I agree to after all what harm could it really do. He seems pleased by my willingness to go so I guess all is good. "After you visit the oracle will you come with me. I want to show you something." Bjorn asks as he places a kiss on the side of my neck. "Okay" I whisper as my wolf surfaces to sniff him. It's insane how hard I have to fight to keep my wolf in check when he gets around us. I can feel how bad she wants him. Bjorn seems pleased with my reaction as he grabs me making me face him. He tells me where to find the oracle before he kisses me deeply and breathlessly in front of everyone. My wolf takes over for a minute and kisses him back just as deeply. 

    When he pulls himself away I feel a loss at his touch. What in the world is going on? I follow the directions Bjorn gave me to find the oracle. I find myself in front of a little cabin that stands by it's self. It's not worn down or anything its just small. I knock on the door and wait. It takes a few minutes and then I hear him. "Come in Alexandria." He calls out. I open the door slowly and enter the house closing it behind me. The house is nice and homey inside. There is a flat screen tv on the wall of the living room and nice newer model furniture and appliances. I look over and see a small older man sitting in a rocking chair. "Come sit here Lex." The oracle states. I slowly take the seat offered. 

    The man smiles at me widely. "I can already see big things in your future my dear." He tells me quietly. "Is that so? Is this information going to stay between us or are you going to tell Bjorn and his family what you see?" I ask defensively. The old man's smile stops. "My dear I may be part of this pack but, I know crazy when I see it." He states flatly. "By the way my name is Eric." He informs me. "It's nice to meet you Eric." I reply with a smile of my own. 

    "Now my dear lets get down to business. Bjorn is trying to find out who killed Sara. That is all he's after. He wants revenge for her death. As for you he doesn't actually want you back. He wants for you to mate with him because I informed him that you would make him stronger and he would be able to draw from your magic at anytime. If that happens he will wipe out your entire pack including your children. He may have loved you once upon a time but Sara had him all twisted around just as she did Tony. You made Tony snap out of it. Tony met Bjorn but Bjorn told him his name was Jason. That's who beat him up was Bjorn. Tony told Sara he should have stayed with his mate and since Sara knew it was you she told Bjorn." Eric informs me. 

    "Now to stop your original mate from getting anything from you. Your mates Zachary and Tony help you to become the strongest witch there is. You feed off their energy as they do yours. You need to get back to them soon. Bjorn still has a plan to wipe your memory. If he succeeds you won't be a witch anymore. You will only have your wolf. You knowing all this can change events from coming to pass however it may also make things worse if you make the wrong choice. Your son Colton will also be a very powerful witch he already is in his own way. Make sure to teach him well. Bjorn doesn't know that Colton has powers. He thinks your daughter Athena will be the one to get your powers. You can use that to your advantage." He tells me calmly and as fast as he can. 

    "My last little tid bit of help is this... Zachary and Tony will be stronger because of you. You are a source of light and there is literally a whole pack of wolves that you made stronger. Those wolves depend on them. You are a wolf but you are also a witch. You need to start tending to both sides of your self. You and your wolf are great together and sometimes you have to ignore her. I know she has been pushing you to sleep with Bjorn. If you and your wolf want to survive don't do that. He will mark you and all will be lost. Be strong for your mates little witch and everything will work out." He finishes. "Do you know why Bjorn wants me to follow him somewhere after this? I ask hoping for insight. "When did he ask you this?" Eric asks. "Before I came here." I answer. He gets this far off look in his eyes for a minute. "We need to get you out of here today." Eric informs me. "Why what's wrong?" I ask feeling scared.

    "I think he might be locking you in the dungeon or he wants to kill you. I get a very dark feeling in your immediate future." He explains. "Well how do I do that?" I ask feeling slightly hysterical. "I can help you teleport yourself off the property but then you have to get yourself home. Can you do that Alex?" Eric asks cutting off and getting a weird look in his eyes again. "He's coming for you and he is angry. Listen he has the power of teleportation. That is why he was able to take you. Now that you know his powers you can prepare for his attack. You have to do this now! Grab my hands." Eric commands. I reluctantly grab his hands trusting him blindly to help me get home. I notice a portal start to open up next to us. Eric drops my hands looking really drained. "Alex, this should take you to the front of the pack house. Bjorn will attack to get you back." Eric tells me barely staying conscious. "Remember who you are always sweetheart." He whispers as he falls out. I look at the portal as I hear banging on the door. My wolf is fighting against me trying to stop me from going through it. Using every piece of me I throw myself through. I hope it takes me were I need to be.
