Chapter 10

(Lee's P.O.V)

"I am going to beat that little s**t when i see him......" I thought to myself as we were getting closer to the city.

"It wasnt his fault though" sam my wolf say's to me.

"What do you mean its not his fault!! he lost not only the alfa primordial, but our mate as well!!!" I shout back at him.

"But he was drugged by those descusting people" my wolf had a point.

"I am still going to clap him on the ear" i say with a bit of a sulk. Turning my attention to the driver now.

"How far lexi"

"Not far now beta, 40 minutes max"

I sigh and sit back in my seat, when i find them i am never letting them out of my site again, epecially little mouse. After a while i could see

the city lights. Finaly.

Arriving at the residents i did not see my dum brother so i mindlinked him.

"Where the hell are you??"

(Adam's P.O.V)

After debating with myself i thought it would be worth the risk to go, if i found them my brother would be happy and hopefuly not hit me. I followed the fading sent for what seemed like hours till i came up on an alley way there sent was strong here, they must have rested here for a little while before moving on. I kept following it was now getting dark, king lucious put a cerfue in about a year ago that everyone must be indoors by 7 p.m to 6 a.m and anyone caught out beyond or before those times were servearly punished. I was part of the royal gard so they couldent do anything to me, i kept following the scent.......its getting a little stronger. I broke into a run, my footfalls silent on the cement below me. I cam to a halt when i saw them, but they werent alone......an elderly lady was talking to them, i didnt want to startle them so i hid around a corner of one of the ally ways. Watching them, i still couldnt see who the old lady was. They stood up, griffin picked up alex.... wow she was actually quite strong, she proceded to follow the old lady and spoke for a bit.

After following them descretly they turned into the walkway of a cottage and went inside. i moved to a position just under some branches oposite the house, when suddenly.

"Where the hell are you?" At that sudden explosion of my brothers voice in my head i jumped which made me hit one of the braches, silently rubbing my head from the pain.

"I decided to try find the girls"

"Ok so you left after i told you not to!" well i think the throbbing pain ontop of my head was the least of my concerns, once my brother gets hold of me.

"There scent was fading and i made the choice and i am glad i did" My brother didnt reply imidiatly.

"And?"

"And i found them, they in a small cottage with an old woman, she seems to be giving them aid."

"Were they hurt!" His voice actually had concern in, usually he collects the girls hands them off and thats it.

"I only saw griffin holding her sister and crring her to this old ladies house."

"OMG my little mouse, what was wrong with her!!!!" His little mouse??? Then it dawned on me.

"Lee is the sister your mate?" Again he was quite

"Lee!"

"Yes..... yes she is....."

"She is ok lee looks like she hurt her feet from all the walking the old lady is bandaging them now."

"Oh thank the moon goddess she is ok"

"Wha..... What are we going to do brother?"

"Just stay where you are and keep an eye on them......I have this mess to clean up. I still dont understand how those 2 girls did all this"

"I know its crazy and they dont seem like they can"

"griffin has one hell of a swing though, but still this is......wow" By the sounds of it he has just walked into the girls room.

"Keep me posted adam"

With that the link was broken, i feel the top of my head and i have a slight egg, with a sigh i sit and watch the cottage.

(Alex's P.O.V)

Mrs willson was such a kind lady, after she bandaged my feet she opted for dinner. I didnt realise how hungery i was till she mentioned food.

"I think i will make chicken pot pie, hope you girls are hungry" as if on que my tummy rummbled, which mrs willson heard, and laughed. "Oh good" she smiled and walked off to the kitchen, followed by griffin. Looking around this beautiful room there were fairy orniments on the pelmets above the very pink curtains that had a floral pattern in a lighter pink on them. In one corner of the room sat an old wooden rocking chair with a plush pink pillow on it. Infront of me was a cobble stone built fire place with a wooden shelf on it, it had little toys on it a cute vitage white beetle sat in the middle. Its not winter so its not lit, but i bet it warms everything up so nicely. Next to it was a old school record player, i had seen pictures in some of the books we got, and a whole bookshelf full of records. As i scan towards the kitchen i noticed some pictures hanging on the wall, standing up with my feet still very sore. I made my way slowly over to them, it was a young woman and man in a nurce and doctors outfit, with a beautiful castle behind them. I leand around the wall to look into the kitchen.

"Mrs willson"

"Yes dear...Ohhhh!!! what are you doing standing you should be resting!"

"I know, but i saw these old photos and just wanted to see" She is cleaning her hands on her apron as she walks over.

"Ahh yes a very fond memory, that is my mate and i at the clinic." Her smile was big as she looked at it, then suddenly pain in her eyes. To try destract her a bit.

"Whats a mate, your way of saying husband?"

"Oh right, you wouldnt know what that is, go sit on the couch i will be right back". She moved into the kitchen and put the pie in the oven, both her and griffin walked back out and helped me the rest of the way to the couch.

"So i do i explain this hmmmmm" She was rubbing her chin in thought, i found that quite amusing.

"Lets start with the moon goddess." Griffin and i were listning intently.

"She is the mother of all werewolves and lycans," she looks at us to see if we understand. We nod in understanding.

"As she is our mother she gives us a mate, a mate isnt just random, they are your second half of your soul." she looks at us.

"Ok so how do you get this mate? How do you know?" Griffin asks curiously.

"Well its the same in the scense of the most amazing intising smell, that is so enticing that you just cant risist but to follow it." I then pipe up

"Like your cooking?" With a huuuge smile

"Ha ha ha ha yes like my cooking, but so irrasistable it pulls you" Pulls you hmmm interesting......

"Sooooo dose that happen with just werewolves?" This earned me a lifted eyebrown from griffin and mrs willson.

"Well i guess it depends, i have seen diffrent creaturs, including humans, being mated to wolves....... why do you ask?" Oh crap, Oh crap, Oh crap!!!!!!1

"Just asking nosie i guess" i said incently, they seemed to have bought it when there faces relaxed..... whiph saved.

"So then what happens?" griffin is asking the questions and i think that is best.

"Well after they find eachother they.......... Mate....... and mark eachother."

"Mark?"......."Like a tattoo?" Mrs willson laughed and pulled the shouled of her dress down.

"You both bite eachother with your cainins" she shows us and pulls her shirt back up. I think my eyes grew to the size of saucers!!!! She saw this

"It only hurt for a breaf moment, then it was pleasure as you both become one!" Hmmmmmm still seems like it would be more painful though.

"Let me go check on the pie" She stood up and walked to the kitchen, i looked at griffin, ahhhhh i sigh, i need to tell her about what i felt with lee.

"hay griffin" I look at her worried. How the hell am i going to tell her!!!!

"Yea whats up alex?" s**t!!! s**t!!! s**t!!!!

"Ummmm....." She is now c*****g an eyebrow at me.

"Whats wrong? You can tell me" s**t!!!!

"I know we ahhhhh...... we never really celebrated our birthdays......" Well f**k, hand palming myself in my head stupid! stupid.

"Yea we couldnt really we lost a lot of days"

"Well what day is your birthday?" Yip i am a big ass chicken, i cant even tell my sister ahhhhh!!!!! i shout in my head.

"Ummmmm 13 of may, wait when is yours?" She now looks worried.

"Holy s**t griffin arnt we in may now?" before she could answer.

"Mrs willson" i hear her faint voice from the kitchen.

"Ummmm what day and month is it?" She came walking through.

"It is the 10th of may dear."

"Oh my god griffin its only 3 days till your birthday!!!" i exclamed in excitment!!!

"Wow your right ha,"

"Oh lovely, how old will you be dear?" mrs willson also looked excited.

"Uhhhh 18 mrs willson" With a very red cheecked smile, we have never celebrated our birthdays!!!!

"Ooooo a very exciting day indeed, you could find your mate" She seemed genuanly happy.

"My what now" i looked at a very gobsmacked griffin.

"Ahhh i forgot to mention that, at 18 you are able to find your mate and your mate you, granted they are 18 as well" The blank look on griffins face was very hard to read i have never seen this.

"Griffin......" I stutter a little "....You ok?"

"Not sure...... this is so much to process!!!" She has put her hands on her head and has stood up walking back and forth.

"I am sure it will be fine griffin" I follow her with my eyes as she walks up and down infront of the fire place.

"Yeeeeaaaaa..... you probably right" Now she was chewing on her thumb nail.

"stop that!" i hear mrs willson. "You have nothing to worry about, the moon goddess litraly made your perfect half for you."

"But i......But i" Griffin was looking around, for the frist time ever she genuanly looked scared.

"I know its scary griffin, you probably wont belive me but i was scared too" Mrs willson is now closing the gap to griffin.

"You were?"

"Of course i was, finding your forever parter is terrifying, but also an adventure." She has a hand on griffins shoulder.

"I have been locked up for so long....." Her eyes are welling with tears. "I thought i could be free.... Just once." Mrs willson grabs her in a huge hug, as i watched my sister weep.

I have always known her to be so strong, she never cryed when we were locked up! Was it because she always had to be strong, always had to be there for me. Now the tears are flowing for me to, but i kept it quiet as i watched mrs willson and griffin hugging.

"I know this is hard, but losing your mate or being rejected is much much worse!" She pulls griffin back from the hug.

"What do you mean rejected mrs willson?" She sighs and gesturs for griffin to sit on the couch.

"My husband.... Wasnt my frist mate" WOW ok soooo? "He was my second chance, once in a life time thing." "On my 18th birthday, i found him. He was the alfa of another pack, they had come down at the kings order cause he was making the boarders for garason city. He took one look at me and rejected me on the spot."

"Oh my god thats awful" i look at mrs willson with empithy.

"It was, and painful, felt like i had been stabbed in the heart with a silver knife. but as i was still a med student i buried my head in my studies, and it just so happened jeramy was at the same med school. We imediatly fell in love and we went through med school together he became a doctor and i a nerce and herbologist."

"Whats a herbologist?" I c**k my head not understanding.

"Well..... How best to explain this......Hmmmmmm...... Well all medicen is made from plants and roots, i just happen to know which ones do which a bit better, surtain roots have the ability to get rid of a nasty tummy bug where others can have the oposite affect." We nod in understanding.

"Mrs willson......Is there...." griffin tarails off

"You can ask me anything child"

"Do you know anything that can help with lost memories?"

"Of coruse dear, what are you trying to remember?"

"Well..... From before i was taken...... From my home...." She suddenly looks down feeling embaressed.

"Hmmmmm it will take some time but i am sure we can get those memories." Griffins face lights up as she looks up at mrs willson. springing out of her seat and hugging mrs willson.

"THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!THANK YOU!!!!" Mrs willson just laughed and hugged her back.

"I'm not going to lie to you dear this is going to be a lot of work, as well as very emotional." She looks at griffin with worried eyes.

"I think i can handle it, i want to try."

With that mrs willson Stood up and invited us into the kitchen.
