Lorena POV
I cleared my head and said, "Let's go buy a car."
"Follow your lead," Shana drove straight to the dealership with me.
We looked around, and the car I had in mind was not a particularly luxurious sedan. I just wanted something reliable and easy to drive. So I picked a Honda. It looked nice, was fuel-efficient, and Japan cars lasted a long time.
After paying, I decided to drive the new car back to my house to show it to my mother. As I pulled up to my pack house, I saw my mother working in the yard. I quickly honked the horn, and she got up to see me, a smile spreading across her face.
"Mom, I bought a new car," I said.
"You know what you should have done? Listen to me and buy a car sooner. Now it's much more convenient," she said.
