Julian Caldwell.
The man smiled as he poured himself a drink. “Mr. Alvarez, I heard you’ve been having second thoughts.”
Nico kept his face blank. “Just weighing my options.”
Julian leaned back, amused. “Options? That’s funny. You see, Nico, we don’t do ‘options.’ You’re either with us…” He swirled his glass. “Or you’re against us.”
Nico clenched his jaw. He had pushed too far. And now, he was dangerously close to becoming Caldwell’s next problem.

Her phone buzzed.
A message from Nico: “We need to talk. Now.”
Leah grabbed her coat and headed for the door. She didn’t know what Nico had done, but she was sure of one thing—they were running out of time.
