Gabe hadn’t slept well in weeks. He missed Carolyn. Missed her sleeping beside him. Missed holding her close, missed making love to her. Every time he saw her big, round belly, it gave him a hard on. He regretted that he hadn’t made love to her more when she was still home. No way could they do it now, with her being in the hospital and on bed rest. But he thought of her, and it seemed every night he was taking care of things when he got home from being with her.
