“What do you want Kayla?” Klaus was the first to speak.
I blinked up at him, my heart cold devoid of the warmth the bond left.
Couldn't he feel it too?
Or did he not care?
Maybe replacing me with Lily was enough for him to care about what we shared.
For a long, breathless second I couldn’t move, couldn’t think, only feel the hollow emptiness gnawing inside me.
