When I’d begun explaining the lifestyle of a Dom/sub relationship and the rules that came with it, I was nervous, worried even. There were certain expectations and it was difficult to guess as to whether or not someone would be okay with them. Or, worse, thought they were okay only to figure out in the midst of things that they weren’t.
That was a dangerous place to be, because people tended to freak out. They got angry, did unpredictable things.
And then there were some people who dealt well with the orders, but not the punishments that came with not following orders. These were people who liked to dabble and to play around, but couldn’t be bothered to take things seriously.
I hated those people more than just about any other kind.
