AllieIt killed me that Jett just stood there outside the doors to the hospital. For those moments in the car, when I saw those missed calls from him on my phone, I thought that things were shifting between us. I thought that maybe we had a chance. After all, who goes through the trouble of finding someone – I’d ask later how in the hell he figured out where I lived – if they didn’t care about that person, right?
