END OF BOOK STUFF
I’ve known for ages that I had to write a book about a racing driver. Motor racing has been a big part of my life since I turned eighteen, and as a track marshal, I’ve been lucky enough to see behind the scenes. For me, Le Mans is the best race in the world, hands down, which is why I’ve been fourteen times now! There’s no luxury farmhouse for me, though—I camp right next to the circuit with my marshalling team, a crew made up of many different nationalities who have become great friends.
And when I say camping, we’ve refined the experience over the years—thanks to the wonders of German engineering, we even have satellite TV and a hot shower :)
