The next two days felt like a torment. At home, Mom and Celine haunted me as if they were my sworn enemies. At work, I faced new trouble with the Denstones; it seemed they were trying to get back at me since I had upset Mrs. Denstone, and not to mention Veronica, who was constantly in my thoughts.
